Post Vacancies:
1. Chief SHE Manager
Qualification: Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Safety & Environmental Management (PGDISEM) from National Institute of Industrial Engineering, Mumbai.
2. Senior SHE Manager
Qualification: Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Safety & Environmental Management (PGDISEM) from National Insttitute of Industrial Engineering, Mumbai
3. Junior SHE Manager
Qualification: i) Degree in Science/Diploma in Engineering with Govt. recognized safety diplomas from correspondence course of NICMAR, Annamalai University, National and State Productivity Councils, other State Technical Education Boards etc.
ii)Any graduate or diploma holder with 5 years of work experience in full fledged SHE department of any Public Sector/Leading Private Sector/MNC with prior approval of employer on a case to case basis.
4. Safety Steward
Qualification: Graduate in any discipline with any SHE related certificate courses.
5. Senior SHE (Electrical) Manager
Qualification: Degree in Electrical Engineering + Government recognized Electrical Licence holder.
6. Junior SHE (Electrical) Manager
Qualification: Diploma in Electrical Engineering + Govt. recognized Electrical Licence Holder
7. Senior SHE (Fire) Manager
Qualification: i) B.E. in (Fire) from National Fire Service College.
ii) B.E. (Fire & Safety) from Cochin University
iii) Graduate with any Govt. recognized Diploma in Fire Safety with 5 years of experience.
8. Occupational Health Officer
Qualification: MBBS with Govt. recognized degree/diploma in Industrial/Occupational Health
9. Environmental Manager
Qualification: Govt. recognized PG Degree/ PG Diploma / Degree in Environmental Engineering /Science.
10. Senior SHE (Traffic) Engineer
Qualification: Govt. recognized PG Degree /Degree/Diploma in Traffic /Transportation Engineering or Planning.
Selection Process: Selection will be through walk-in-Interview. The details regarding walk-in interview are as per point C-2.
A. The above posts are specifically for Ircon’s Kochi Metro Rail Project at Kochi and not for the regular establishment of Ircon. The
appointment will be initially for 1 year, extendable further as per the requirement of the Company and if the services of the candidates are found to be satisfactory. However, the appointment is co-terminus with the project and will not confer any right to claim absorption in regular establishment of the company or for appointment in other projects of the company.
B-1.Reimbursement for indoor treatment for self at the place of posting only would be permissible.
B-2.Minimum PF as prescribed under the EPF & MP Act 1952 will be deducted from the salary and a matching contribution will be made
by IRCON. The accumulations will be paid at the time of cessation of contract.
B-3.One leave for each calendar month of service which can be availed during the contract period. Leave can be carried forward and
accumulated but no leave encashment for un availed leave is allowed during the contract or on resignation or termination of contract. No other type of leave would be admissible.
B-4.One weekly off and other public holidays when the project remains closed would be available.
B-5.TA/DA would also be admissible if deputed on outstation duty.
B-6.No other perks or benefits would be admissible except the above.
B-7.Working hours will be the same as for the project
B-8.The ex-employees of Ircon, whose services were terminated due to closure of projects can also apply for these posts if they fulfil the required qualifications and experience. A copy of the termination letter should be sent along with the application. This appointment will be subject to their satisfactory performance and shall be co-terminus with the project. The persons so appointed for this project will have no claim for their absorption in regular establishment of the Company or for appointment in other projects of the company.

1.Application typed on A-4 size paper in the format given at the end of the advertisement should be addressed and sent to AGM/Civil, Ircon International Ltd., as per address given in table below accompanied with the self attested photocopies of the following documents :
(a)Matriculation Certificate (for age proof);
(b)Self Attested copy of Certificates of Essential Qualification (Full Time only)- applicable Degree/Diploma etc & mark sheets of the same.
(c )Certificates of other professional qualifications, if any;
(d)Certificates in proof of experience, if any ,as applicable, clearly projecting the requisite experience indicating the length and line of experience as per eligibility conditions/criteria;
(e)Certificate in support of claim of belonging to Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe and Other Backward Classes, Ex-serviceman, wherever applicable.
Please note that the candidates belonging to OBC category (non creamy layer) have to submit the latest financial year OBC certificate in centre format applicable for appointment for posts under Govt. of India (in the format annexed at the end of this advertisement).
(f)No Objection Certificate (NOC) from present employer if working with Govt./PSU’s/Autonomous Bodies &
(g)Complete set of self attested photocopies of all the above mentioned certificates.
2.Only such applicants will be interviewed who are eligible as per the eligibility criteria. Applicants are, therefore, advised to check their eligibility thoroughly while applying so as to avoid disappointment at a later stage. The applicants must bring the original certificates in proof of age, community, educational qualifications and experience while coming for the interview failing which the interview of the candidate will not conducted.
3.Incomplete or vague applications or applications not accompanied with documents as mentioned above at point (C-1) will be rejected summarily. Applications not in the prescribed format or without a photograph will also not be entertained. Also, candidates not accompanied with original documents as per pt.(C-1)will not be allowed to appear for the Interview.
4.Applicants working in Govt./PSUs may note that they have to produce NOC at the time of interview and resign from their parent organization on their selection.
