The ESSO-National Centre for Antarctic & Ocean Research (NCAOR), an Autonomous Society under the
Ministry of Earth Sciences, Govt. of India, New Delhi, is looking for prospective candidates for filling up of
six (06) posts of Junior Research Fellows under various projects. The positions are purely temporary on
project mode initially for a period of one year. Candidates fulfilling the prescribed eligibility criteria are
invited to attend a walk-in-interview at NCAOR on 21st November 2016 (Monday).

Job Details:

Pay Scale- Rs.25000/- (Per Month)
Educational Qualification: Candidate should have Master’s Degree in Earth Science/Geology/Marine Geology/Marine Sciences OR M.Tech in Physical Sciences / Earth Sciences with 60% marks from a recognized university and NET /GATE/INSPIRE or equivalent qualification.

1. 21st November 2016 (Monday) is the cut-off date for all the purposes.
2. The person engaged will not be treated on par with regular employees of NCAOR and shall have no right
to claim implicit or explicit for their absorption or regularization in NCAOR.
3. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
Vacancy Notice 6 Junior Research Fellow Vacancy in NCAOR
All candidates are required to bring the original documents related to educational qualifications, NET/ GATE/ INSPIRE or equivalent qualification certificate, date of birth, work experience, caste etc. Duly attested copies of all the documents must be submitted with the Biodata (proforma attached). One self attested recent passport size photograph should be pasted in the appropriate place in the biodata.
