- PT-III(FW) UR-1, OBC-1 (project titled Capacity Building for undertaking the Phase-III randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial to evaluate the efficacy and safety of VPM1002 and Mw (MIP) vaccines in preventing TB in healthy household contacts of new pulmonary TB patients”)
- PT-III(FW) UR-1, SC-1 (project titled ‘’A phase IIB open label, parallel, randomized controlled clinical trial to evaluate the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics and antibacterial activity of high dose Rifampicin versus conventional dose of Rifampicin along with standard anti-tubercular therapy (ATT) in drug sensitive adult patients of PTB”)

- In addition to routine job as Field Worker, the candidate is required to travel to all the referral centres and recruit patients for the clinical trial and data collection. They may also undertake house/health facility visits to remind patients regarding follow up evaluations and for defaulter retrieval activities as per the instructions of respective P.Is of the project.
- They may submit on spot the filled-in application form affixing a passport size colour photograph along with self attested copies of age proof,educational qualifications (from matriculation onwards), certificates of experience related to nature of job, caste certificate (for OBC candidate, creamy layer/non-creamy layer certificate as per Govt of India guidelines) and a fee of Rs.100/- (drawn in favour of Director, NIRT, Chennai) in the shape of demand draft from any Nationalized Bank. The original of the attached documents should also be carried with for the purpose of verification. SC/ST, physically disabled candidates and women candidates are exempted from payment of fees subject to production of valid certificate.
