General Information:
- The candidates applying for the examination should ensure that they fulfil all the eligibility conditions for admission to the examination. Their admission to the examination at all stages of examination for which they are admitted by the Comrnission viz written examination and interviedviva voce test will be purely provisional subject to their fulfilling the prescribed eligibility conditions. If, on verification at any time before or after the written examination and interview/viva voce test, it is found that they do not fulfi1 any of the eligibility conditions, their candidature of the examination will be cancelled by the Commission.
- The eligible candidates shall be issued e-Admit card before conlmencement of the written examination. The e-Admit card will be made available on the AP PSC website for downloading by candidates. No admission certificate will be sent by post. For downloading the e-Admit card, the candidates must have hislher parameters like registration ID and date of birth or ro11No.(if received and date of birth or father’s name) available with his /her.
- The candidates who have been declared qualified in written examination will have to submit Xerox copies of the following documents /information to the commission before the interview date.
- (i) Recent Passport size photograph (ii) Matriculation ceritificate issued by Board /university fior proof of date of birth (ii, Class XII Certificate with Marksheet (iv) Diploma Cerificate with Marksheet issued by the Assistant Registrar/Registrar lControiler of Examination/Vice Chancelor of the concerned University to ascertain educational quaiification. (v) APST Certificate. (vi) Any other documents as may be relevant.(vii) Intimation letter to HoD for those who are in regular Govt. Service.
- QUALIFIED candidates will have to produce the above mentioned Certificates/Documents and Marksheets in ORIGINAL at the time of interviedviya voce.
- The candidates who secure a minimum of 337. or more marks in each written examination paper and 45″/o or more marks out of aggregate total marks in the written examination papers shall be eligible for viva-voce test. On the other hand, it wiII further mean that selection for viva-voce test shall be based on the aggregate total marks secured in the written examination papers and subject to ratio 1:3. The eandidates securing less than 33o/o of marks in any of written examination paper or 45″h in aggregate shall not be eligible for appearing in the viva-voce test.
- The Commission will adopt Recruitment Test (Objective $pe) before the written examination if it is deemed necessary to do so.
- Candidates are required to pay fee of Rs 150 through online.

- The Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) is a Constitutional body constituted with effect from 1st April 1988 under Article-315 of the Constitution of India vide Notification OM-15/88 dated 29th March 1988. The Commission advice the Government of Arunachal Pradesh on all matters relating to state civil services and publish notifications inviting applications for selection to various posts as per the requisitions of the appointing authorities, conduct written tests and interview, prepare ranked list based on the performance of the candidates and advice candidates for appointing strictly based on their merit and observing the rules of reservation as and when vacancies are reported.
- The Commission is presently housed in the state govt. building located near Vidhan Vihar, Itanagar.
- The Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission established in 1988 have been performing its role as guardian of merit and equity in recruitments to higher post of civil services for the state of Arunachal Pradesh with considerable dexterity and poise and have gained trust of people for its impartiality and integrity. This trust has been well earned over the years through smooth discharge of its constitutional role made possible by well-nurtured and time tested modes and conventions and respect for conventional values.
- With the demands of the time and effect of globalization and information technology, this Commission has introduced many desirable changes in selection process and evaluation to make it adequately transparent. Launching Commission’s own website through N.I.C. on computer for the benefit of the general public and prospective candidate is one of it.

The state Public Service Commission is introducing online and offline application systems shortly to ease the process of the recruitments and to minimize the usage of paper.
- To facilitate the candidates the Commission has constructed the Exam Hall building. This building will be equipped with all comfortable facilities such as Single sitter, Air Conditioner and proper lighting. CCTV camera and other modern gadgets will also be installed to prevent malpractices during the exams.
