General Instruction:
- The above positions are purely temporary on contract basis and co-terminus with completion of the projects/requirements and non-transferable to any other projects.
- The above positions at Sr. No. 1 to 5 are initially for a period of one year and further extendable on yearly basis based on continuation of research project(s) and subject to satisfactory performance of individual.
- The above positions at Sr. No. 6 & 7 are initially for a period of one year and further extendable on yearly basis based on continuation of research project(s) and subject to satisfactory performance of individual.
- Consultant (Admin) – I & II at Sr. No. 8 above are initially for a period of 06 (six) month/s, which may be further extended from time to time depending on the performance of the individual subject to the requirement of the Institute.
- The upper age limit for SRF, Project Associate-I & Office Assistant (IT) is 35 years, Lab Attendant is 28 years and Scientific Officer-I & II is preferably 40 years (Relaxation : 5 years for SC/ST/PH/Woman and 3 years for OBC candidates) while for Consultant it is 65 years as on the date of interview.
- The date for determining age, qualification, experience etc. shall be the date of interview. The eligible candidates may appear before the selection committee for interview on the date and
time mentioned above. Candidates must bring with them a duly filled application form given below, with original & attested copies of mark sheets/certificates etc. along with a recent passport size photograph. - No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for attending the interview.
- The Institute reserves the right to fill or not to fill any or all the post advertised.
- The numbers of vacancies are indicative and may be increased or decreased. The number of posts advertised is provisional and can be varied as per the requirement of the Institute.
- It may please be noted that offer of fellowship/consultancy does not confer on fellows/consultants any right for absorption in IPFT.

- The Institute of Pesticide Formulation Technology (IPFT) is an Autonomous Institution [under Societies Registration Act, 1860 (Registration No. S-21944/1991)] under the Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Govt. of India. It was established in May’1991 and in this short span, it has emerged as a reputed institute among the pesticide formulation and analytical R & D centres of India. IPFT has always been at the forefront of developments in pesticide formulations and analytical technologies. It is comprised of Five divisions namely-
- Formulation Division
Analytical Division
Bioscience Division
Pilot Plant Division
Administration & Finance Division - It has state-of-art laboratories for development, quality control and field-testing of both conventional and new generation pesticide formulations including botanical pesticides.
- IPFT is recognized as an independent testing laboratory by CIB, CIPAC, FAO, GTZ and RENPAP. The Analytical Division of the Lab is NABL Accredited as per ISO/IEC – 17025 (2005) for the testing of Pesticides (Technical & Formulations), Pesticide residues in various food matrices and CWC related chemicals. The Lab is BIS Recognized / Certified also for the testing of pesticide formulations as per IS specifications.
- The Lab is participating in OPCW Proficiency Tests for the analysis and identification of CWC related chemicals in various environmental matrices. The lab achieved the status of a “Designated Laboratory” by the OPCW in 2011.
