General Conditions:
- The aspiring applicants satisfying the eligibility criteria in all respect must submit their application through e-mail by 17.03.2020 and post by 31.03.2020.
- The applicants applying in response to this advertisement should satisfy themselves regarding their eligibility for the aforesaid post and must fulfil all the eligibility criteria on or before 17/03/2020, failing which their application will be rejected.
- Application fee for General/OBC category Rs. 2,000/-, for SC/ST category Rs. 500/- is required to be remitted as a demand draft in favour of “THE DIRECTOR AIIMS NAGPUR” payable at Nagpur. Any other instrument of payment is not acceptable. Please make sure to correctly mention the DD No., Date and Bank in your application form for reconciliation. The Application fee is non-refundable. For PwD category application fee is exempted.
- Those who are working in Central/State/Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous Institution must submit a “NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE” from the employers at the time of interview.
- Self-Attested photocopies of Degrees, Certificates, Mark sheets, Age proof, Caste certificates etc. may be annexed to the printed copy of the application and the same shall be produced in original along with photocopy for verification at the time of interview
- Based on bio-data, the Search cum Selection Committee may short-list Candidates for interview. Candidates called for interview will have to produce all relevant original documents in proof of details furnished in their application at the time of interview.
- The interview will be held in Nagpur only. List of eligible candidates, Date, time & venue for interview shall be put up in the website. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
- Canvassing of any kind will lead to disqualification. The prescribed qualification is minimum and mere possessing the same does not entitle any candidate for selection.
- The appointment will be subject to review and probation of two years.
- If an appointee wishes to apply somewhere else during the probation period – first 02 years of joining, then neither he/she will be issued a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
- The candidate should not have been convicted by any Court of Law
- The selected candidate is expected to confirm to the rules of conduct and discipline as applicable to the institute employees.
- In case of any information given or declaration by the candidate is found to be false or if the candidate has will-fully suppressed any material information relevant to this appointment, he/she will be liable to be removed from the service and any action taken as deemed fit by the appointing authority.
- The decision of the competent authority regarding selection of candidates will be final and no representation will be entertained in this regard.
- Incomplete applications in any aspect will be summarily rejected.
- The Competent Authority reserves the right of any amendment, cancellation and changes to this advertisement as a whole or in part without assigning any reason or giving notice.

- The All India Institute of Medical Sciences [AIIMS] was designed to serve as a nucleus for nurturing excellence in all aspects of health and wellness program throughout India. AIIMS are a group of autonomous public medical institutes that have been declared by an Act of Parliament 1956 as “Institute of National Importance”. All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Nagpur is one among the four AIIMS announced during the budget speech 2014-15 under Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY). Foundation stone for AIIMS, Nagpur was laid by Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi and Hon’ble Chief Minister of Maharashtra Shri Devendra Fadnavis at Sector 20, MIHAN. Union Cabinet Minister for Road Transport and Highway and Shipping (GoI), Shri Nitin Gadkari and many other dignitaries graced the occasion. The primary objectives of AIIMS are “correcting regional imbalances in the availability of affordable/reliable tertiary healthcare services and also to augment facilities for quality medical education in the country”.
- AIIMS, Nagpur within a short span of time has been unfaltering in its efforts to provide best medical education and training with all modern facilities with full support of Govt. Medical College, Nagpur and is growing leaps and bounds. - Government of Maharashtra had allotted 150 acres of land for AIIMS, Nagpur in Special Economic Zone, MIHAN. The onsite work is going on in full swing and probability of commencement of OPD health care services in early 2019. The construction and electrification works in permanent MIHAN campus of AIIMS, Nagpur has reached its final stages for OPD services.
- AIIMS Nagpur offers full time undergraduate degree program MBBS that has an innovative curriculum designed to meet the healthcare needs of country.
