General Conditions:
- This Institute intends to engage services o f the following post at N agpur and Gadchiroli District on contract basis for various projects.
- Interested candidates fulfilling the qualifications prescribed above are requested to present on 15″ January 2021 by 10 A.M . at RARIM CH, N agpur with duly filled application form along with self attested X erox copy o f necessary certificate with original docum ents and two recent passport size photograph.
- Age limit o f the candidate will be determ ined as on 01-01-2021. Relaxable in case o f SC/ST/OBC as per Govt, rules.
- A ppointm ent will be initially for a period for six m onths, which may be curtailed or extended at the discretion o f the com petent authority.
- The engagem ent to above post will be purely on contractual basis and no right to claim for continuation or regularization o f appointm ent.

About Us:

- This Institute is situated in the center of India at Nagpur. The institute was established as Regional Research Center (Ayurveda) on first July 1972, with Survey of Medicinal Plants Unit (SMPU) and Mobile Clinical Research Unit (MCRU). Afterwards this center has been upgraded as Regional Research Institute (Ayurveda) in the year 1999 and working with SMPU, THCRP and Clinical research at OPD and IPD level. Later this Institute is shifted to own building with the premises of approximately 7000 Sq.Mt.. Recently on 12th April 2016 this institute is renamed as ‘Regional Ayurveda Research Institute for Mother and Child Health’.
- To develop scientific evidence in Ayurvedic Principles, drug therapies by way of integrating ancient wisdom with modern technology and to bring Ayurveda to the people through scientific innovations related to diagnostics, preventive, promotive as well as treatment methods and also introduce scientific research for sustained availability of quality natural resources, to translate them into products and processes and in synergy with concerned organizations to introduce these innovations into public health systems.”

- To develop CCRAS into a dynamic, vibrant and model research organization for undertaking, coordinating, aiding and promoting research in Ayurveda.
- To bring-up modern scientific knowledge, technology to explore Ayurveda scientific treasure following prevalent scientific methods.
- To attain global leadership in research for treatment and prevention of emerging important lifestyle related disease and health requirement.
- The Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS), an autonomous body under Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India is an apex body in India for undertaking, coordinating, formulating, developing and promoting research on scientific lines in Ayurvedic Sciences. The activities are carried out through its 30 Institutes/Centres/Units located all over India and also through collaborative studies with various Universities, Hospitals and Institutes. The research activities of the Council include Medicinal Plant Research (Medico-Ethno Botanical Survey, Pharmacognosy and Tissue Culture), Drug Standardization, Pharmacological Research, Clinical Research, Literary Research & Documentation and Tribal Health Care Research Programme.
- The formulation of aims and patterns of research on scientific lines in Ayurvedic Sciences.
To undertake any research or other programmes in Ayurvedic Sciences.
The prosecution of and assistance in research, the propagation of knowledge and experimental measures generally in connection with the causation, mode of spread and prevention of diseases.
To initiate, aid, develop and co-ordinate scientific research in different aspects, fundamental and applied of Ayurvedic Sciences and to promote and assist institutions of research for the study of diseases, their prevention, causation and remedy.
To finance enquiries and researches for the furtherance of objects of the Central Council.
To exchange information with other Institutions, Associations and Societies interested in the objects similar to those of the Central Council and specially in observation and study of diseases in East and in India in particular.
