General Instruction:
- In partial modification ofthis Government notification of even numberdated 13th March, 2020 in thisregard, the General Administration Department, Government ofManipur hereby invites applications in the prescribed format from willing and eligible candidates forrecruitment ofthe following category ofposts in the General Administration Department, Government ofManipur.
- 38 years and below (as on 22nd August, 2019), relaxable upto 41 years for OBC category and 43 yearsfor ST/SC category. Age relaxation by 10 yearsforPWD candidatesin each category.
- Reservation will be provided as per the Reservation Policy ofthe Government. Horizontal reservation will also be provided for persons who are differently abled.
- The willing and eligible candidates should get their names sponsored by the concerned Employment Exchange offices on or before 3rd May, 2021. Thereafter, the sponsored candidates should download the application form (enclosed) from the website (www.manipur.gov.in) and submit the completed forms w.e.f 10th May, 2021 to 21st May, 2021 between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm along with the required selfattested copies ofcertificates atLounge ofManipurState GuestHouse, Sanjenthong, Imphal.
- Candidates are required to pay the applicable fee during the time ofsubmission of forms.
- Rs.500/-forUnreservedCategory and OBCcandidates andRs.300/- for SC/ST.
- Application fees for PWD candidate will be exempted. However supporting certificatemust be enclosed.
- Completed application form forthe above post along with the required number of passport size photographs (3 nos.) and self-attested copies ofthe
documents/certificates(mentioned in the application form). Candidates claiming reservation should submit attested copy of ST/SC/OBC/PWD certificate at the time ofsubmission of application formfor verification. - Candidates whose application have already been accepted/received by GAD need not apply again.
- Application fees for PWD candidate will be exempted. Application fees is Rs 300/- for SC/ST candidates and Rs 500/- for other candidates.
- Willing candidates may apply as per given format and send it by 21-05-2021 to the given address with all relevant documents of qualification, experience and experience. Candidates must superscribe the envelope properly as “Application for the post of __Stenographer Gr III__ in Project _(name of project)__”
- Candidates will be called for written test, Computer test (Practical) and Shorthand test (English), after initial screening of applications. Written test will consist of two papers i.e Paper I 100 marks with total 2 hours duration and Paper II of 50 marks with 1 1/2 hours duration. Computer test (Practical) will be one and half hour duration of total 50 marks.

- Manipur Secretariat is the administrative backbone of the Government of Manipur. The General Administration Department is the nodal department entrusted with the task of providing clerical and support staff to the various offices, officials and sections in the Manipur Secretariat. It is responsible for managing the office spaces, rooms and maintaining the up-keep of the office premises and also providing conveyance to officials and other necessary arrangements for National/State functions and State Guests.
- The Minister-in-charge shall be primarily responsible for the disposal of the Business pertaining to the department as per Rule 8 of the “Rules of Business of the Government of Manipur”. The Administrative Secretary is the Head of Department. The business allocations, under the Business of the Government of Manipur (Allocation) Rules, 2009, for the General Administration Department are:-
All matters relating to Secretariat Establishment and Administration.
All matters relating to opening, up-gradation etc. of Post Offices
All matters relating to Protocol, Warrant of Precedence etc.
All matters relating to records and Library of Secretariat.
All matters relating to Government Oil Depot.
All matters relating to Stationery Department, including Printing and Stationary.
State Guest VIP visits.
Telephone Services in the State.
State Guests House, Sanjenthong, Imphal including State Guest VIP Visits.
