Important Information:
As per the Memorandum of Understanding between the Delhi Police and the Staff Selection Commission, an open competitive examination will be conducted by the Commission for the recruitment of Constable (Executive) Male and Female in the Delhi Police. Candidates from across the country are eligible to apply for this post. Please note that this post is not suitable for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD).
Key Highlights of the Recruitment Process:
1. The examination will be advertised by SSC based on vacancies communicated by Delhi Police.
2. Applications will be accepted only through the online mode.
3. The Computer-Based Examination (CBE) will be conducted in English and Hindi.
4. Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE&MT) will be held by Delhi Police in Delhi and is qualifying in nature.
5. Eligibility certificates and documents will be collected and verified during PE&MT by Delhi Police.
6. The final result will be declared by the Commission based on CBE performance, subject to qualifying PE&MT and other specified conditions in the Notice of Examination.
7. SSC will handle RTI/public grievances/representations regarding the Notice of Examination, online applications, CBE conduct, and merit list preparation.
8. Delhi Police will handle court cases related to the Notice of Examination, CBE conduct, candidate shortlisting for PE&MT, and final result preparation for candidates applying in Delhi. For other regions, SSC will handle such court cases.
9. Court cases, RTI, public grievances, and representations for all other matters like the Scheme of Examination, vacancies, PE&MT, Document Verification, and Medical Examination will be managed by Delhi Police.

2. Pay Scale: Pay Level-3 (Rs 21,700 – Rs 69,100).

– Constable (Exe.)-Male: 27,484
– Constable (Exe.)-Male (Ex-Servicemen): 15,327
– Constable (Exe.)-Male (Ex-Servicemen [Commando]): 15,227
– Constable (Exe.)-Female: 15,022
– Total Vacancies: 45,558
10% of vacancies are reserved for Ex-servicemen, with specific criteria for eligibility.
Nationality/Citizenship:
Candidates must be Indian citizens.
Age Limit:
Candidates should be between 18 to 25 years as of July 1, 2023, with permissible age relaxations for different categories.
