Eligibility Criteria for Assistant Engineer

- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a regular BE/B.Tech/B.Sc Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 55% marks or an equivalent degree in the respective discipline recognized by AICTE. Alternatively, candidates with an AMIE in Mechanical Engineering with 55% marks from the Institution of Engineers (India) Kolkata are also eligible to apply.
- Age Limit: The age limit for General/UR applicants is between 18 and 37 years. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates as per Punjab Government norms: 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates.
Payscale for Assistant Engineer
