Constable Driver Operator Jobs: Key Details
- Age: The minimum age limit for the Constable/Driver – Cum-Pump-Operator (Driver for Fire Services) Group C category is 18 years, and the maximum age limit is 27 years as of April 3, 2025.
- Education: Candidates must have a matriculation or equivalent education from a recognized Board.
- Driving License: Applicants must hold a valid driving license for Heavy Motor Vehicles/Transport Vehicles (HMV/TV), Light Motor Vehicles, and Motorcycles with gear.
- Experience: Three years of experience as a driver for HMV/TV or light motor vehicles and motorcycles is required for the Constable/Driver – Cum-Pump-Operator (Driver for Fire Services) Group C category.
Selection Process
- PST/PET: Physical Screening Test/Physical Efficiency Test will be conducted to assess the candidates’ physical fitness.
- Documentation & Trade Test: Candidates will undergo documentation and trade tests to evaluate their skills and knowledge.
- Written Examination (Bilingual): A written examination in Hindi and English will be conducted, followed by an exhaustive hospital test (DME) or review hospital test (RME).
Selection Fee
The selection fee for the Constable/Driver – Cum-Pump-Operator (Driver for Fire Services) Group C category is ₹100/-, which can be paid through Net Banking, Debit/Credit cards, UPI, or cash in SBI Branches by generating an SBI Challan. SC/ST & Ex-SM job seekers are exempted from the selection fee.
