Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200/-
Grade Pay: Rs.2000/-
Educational Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent form a recognized University and Two years works experience in respective trades OR one years certificate course form Industrial Training Institute of Vocational Institute OR Two years Diploma form Industrial Training Institute in the trades or similar trades.

Content: Being a secular country, the religious sentiments of our countrymen are to be respected and thus, tattoos depicting religious symbol or figures and the name as followed in Indian Army are to be permitted.
Location: Tattoos marked on traditional sites of the body like inner aspect of forearm but only left forearm, being non saluting limb or dorsum of the hands are to be allowed.

Size: Size must be less than 1/4 of the particular part (Elbow or Hand) of the body.
Written Test for 100 marks:
- The Written Test for 100 marks containing 100 questions (qualifying marks 35% for GC & Ex-Servicemen and 33% for SC/ST/OBC) will consist of only OMR based objective type multiple choice questions to be answered using Blue or Black Ball Point Pen only. The duration of the written test will be 2 hours.
- The question paper will be set to assess the (i) General Awareness/General Knowledge. (ii) Knowledge of elementary mathematic, (iii) Analytical aptitude and ability to observe the distinguish patterns and to test the (iv) basic knowledge of the candidates in English/Hindi. The questions will be set both in Hindi and English. The papers can be answered either in Hindi or in English.
How to Apply BSF Vacancy: Interested Candidates may apply in prescribed application form along with Self-attested copies of relevant documents, three recent passport size photograph & two self addressed envelope of size 25 x 12 cm with postal stamp worth Rs. 40/- each send to relevant centers as per official Notification on or before with in 30 days from the date of publication in Employment News.
