General Information:
- Candidates should register themselves for apprenticeship in Government of India Apprenticeship portal (www.apprenticeship.gov.in). Candidate should also select “Establishment Search” under Establishment menu in the above site (www.apprenticeship.qov.in) and select “Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, Trichy” for undergoing apprenticeship training with BHEL. This is compulsory. If the candidate does not select “Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, Trichy” for undergoing apprenticeship training, their applications cannot be processed further.
- Candidates should also apply online at www.bheltry.co.in. Candidates should also read all instructions given in the link before submitting their applications. The candidates are advised to take a print out of the application from the online system after submission of the application. The print out of submitted application should be produced at the time of verification.
- Out of the above training vacancies, 19%, 1%, 27 % and 4% are reserved for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Class and PWD candidates respectively.
- Candidates with knowledge of Tamil will be given preference.

- Age limit: Between 18 and 27 years as on 13/04/2019. A relaxation of 5 years is admissible to SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates in the upper age-limit. In the case of physically handicapped persons, a relaxation of 10 years is admissible in the upper age-limit.

- Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) owned and founded by the Government of India, is an engineering and manufacturing company based in New Delhi, India. Established in 1964, BHEL is India’s largest power generation equipment manufacturer.
- BHEL was established in 1964 ushering in the indigenous Heavy Electrical Equipment industry in India. Heavy Electricals (India) Limited was merged with BHEL in 1974.[2] In 1991, BHEL was converted into a public limited company.
