General Information:
- The posts carry usual allowance as admissible to Central Government Servant of similar status stationed at Delhi/New Delhi.
- The aspiring applicants satisfying the eligibility criteria in all respect can submit their application only through ON-LINE mode. The On-line registration of applications will be made available on AIIMS web site www.aiimsexams.org from 01.08.2019 to 21.08.2019 upto 5:00 P.M. No documents including the Registration Slip of on-line application form is required to be sent, however, all the applicants are advised to keep a copy of registration slip with them, alongwith proof of payment for their record.
- The On-line Registration will ix,05;30 PM on 21.08.2019. The candidature of such applicants who fails to complete the online registration by the stipulated date and time will not be considered and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
- They must be fulfilling all the eligibility criteria as on the closing date of online registration/submitting application, failing which their application will be rejected.
- The applicants applying in response to this advertisement should satisfy themselves regarding their eligibility for the post applied for.
- The candidate must ensure that their photo, signature and thumb impression should be as per the Guidelines mentioned in the ‘Upload Image Instructions’ given in the General links and are clearly visible in preview at the time of filling of application in online mode. If photo/signature/thumb impression image is not as per instructions given in the ‘Upload Image Instructions’ease,- your be rejected. - The candidate can pay the prescribed application fee through DEBIT CARD/CREDIT CARD/ NETBANKING. Transaction / Processing fee, if any, as applicable, will be payable to the bank by the candidate.
- Application fee once remitted shall not be refunded under any circumstances.

- Upper age limit, to determine eligibility in terms of all other qualifications (Experience) last date of Online registration/submission of applications i.e. 21.08.2019 will be the cut off date.
- SC/ST/OBC candidates who opt to apply for unreserved vacancies will not be eligible for age relaxation or relaxation in cut off marks which are otherwise allowed to those belonging to these categories.
- Candidates applying under any of the reserved category viz. SC/ST/OBC will be considered subject to submission of Caste certificate on a prescribed format issued by the competent authority. - The vacancies advertised under EWS Category is as per the instructions issued by DoPT, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pension, Govt. of India, vide OM. No. 36039/1/2019-Estt (Res), dated 31.01.2019. EWS category will be considered subject to submission of Income and Assets certificate on a prescribed format issued by the competent authority and subject to verification ofigefrifteel of the certificate by the issuing authority.

- The candidates are advised to bring Admit Card downloaded from AIIMS website at the time of Online (CBT) mode Examination and hand over the same to the Invigilator after completing the Examination, failing which their candidature/performance in the Online (CBT) mode Examination will not be considered.
- The original certificates/documents of successful candidates will be verified for which dates will be notified after declaration of result. On the basis of Online (CBT) mode Examination, the provisionally qualified candidates will be required to produce original certificates as given below along with one photocopy of all these document which are , duly attested/self attested. Document required are : i) Copy of downloaded Registration Slip of on-line application form. ii) Copy of downloaded Admit Card. iii) Cei-tificate showing the Dale of Birth. iv) Caste certificate if applied under SC/ST/OBC category issued by the competent authority. v) Disability Certificate, if applied under PWBD category. vi) ‘No Objection Certificate’ if in regular employment. Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital (RMLH), 2. Safdarjung Hospital (SJH), 3. Lady Hardinge Medical College(LHMC) & Smt. Sucheta Kriplani Hospital (SSKH) and 4. Kalawati Saran Children’s Hospital (KSCH) New Delhi. In this regard, Examination Section, AIIMS, New Delhi will be conducting a combined Online (CBT) mode Recruitment Examination for the post of Nursing Officer for AIIMS New Delhi and above mentioned Hospitals as per the Recruitment Rules of AIIMS, New Delhi and Other Hospitals, with single Registration process for all the institutions/ hospitals. The details of the posts are indicated in the advertisements of AIIMS New Delhi & Dr. RML Hospital (Nodal Hospital for all 4 Central Government Hospitals) separately. However, the applicant will have to give their choice of preference in the single online Registration form. - Creating a country imbued with a scientific culture was Jawaharlal Nehru’s dream, and immediately after independence he prepared a grand design to achieve it. Among the temples of modern India which he designed, was a centre of excellence in the medical sciences. Nehru’s dream was that such a centre would set the pace for medical education and research in Southeast Asia , and in this he had the wholehearted support of his Health Minister, Rajkumari Amrit Kaur.
- The health survey and development committee ,chaired by Sir Joseph Bhore, an Indian Civil Servant ,had in 1946 already recommended the establishment of a national medical centre which would concentrate on meeting the need for highly qualified manpower to look after the nation’s expanding health care activities . The dreams of Nehru and Amrit Kaur and the recommendations of the Bhore Committee converged to create a proposal which found favor with the government of New Zealand. A generous grant from New Zealand under the Colombo Plan made it possible to lay the foundation stone of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in 1952.The AIIMS was finally created in 1956,as an autonomous institution through an Act of Parliament ,to serve as a nucleus for nurturing excellence in all aspect of health care.
- All-India Institute of Medical Sciences was established as an institution of national importance by an Act of Parliament with the objects to develop patterns of teaching in Undergraduate and Post-graduate Medical Education in all its branches so as to demonstrate a high standard of Medical Education in India; to bring together in one place educational facilities of the highest order for the training of personnel in all important branches of health activity; and to attain self-sufficiency in Post-graduate Medical Education.
- The Institute has comprehensive facilities for teaching, research and patient-care. As provided in the Act, AIIMS conducts teaching programs in medical and para-medical courses both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and awards its own degrees. Teaching and research are conducted in 42 disciplines. In the field of medical research AIIMS is the lead, having more than 600 research publications by its faculty and researchers in a year. AIIMS also runs a College of Nursing and trains students for B.Sc.(Hons.) Nursing post-certificate) degrees.
- Twenty-five clinical departments including four super specialty centers manage practically all types of disease conditions with support from pre- and Para-clinical departments. However, burn cases, dog-bite cases and patients suffering from infectious diseases are not entertained in the AIIMS Hospital. AIIMS also manages a 60-beded hospital in the Comprehensive Rural Health Centre at Ballabgarh in Haryana and provides health cover to about 2.5 lakh population through the Centre for Community Medicine.
