IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS:
- Border Security Force will be holding an All India Examination for direct recruitment to the posts of CONSTABLE (GENERATOR OPERATOR)CONSTABLE (GENERATOR MECHANIC) & CONSTABLE (LINEMAE), Group-‘C’ Non-Gazetted, Non Ministerial (Combatised) in BSF Engineering (Electrical) Set up for the year 2018.
- Candidates are advised to go through the requirement of educational/technical qualiï¬cation, age, physical standards, physical efï¬ciency test etc and satisfy themselves that they are eligible for the post, before applying. BSF reserves the right to cancel the candidature of any candidate at any stage of the selection process, if he is found not qualifying any of the prescribed eligibility criteria.
- Candidates seeking reservation beneï¬ts for SC/ST/OBC/Govt. Servant/ Ex- Servieemen must ensure that they are entitled to such reservation as per eligibility prescribed in the notice. They should also be in possession of the certiï¬cates in the format prescribed by Government of India in support of their claim at the time of application.
- Central Government Employees/Servants claiming age relaxation should be in possession of a certiï¬cate in the prescribed format from their ofï¬ce, in respect of the length of continuous service which should not be less than three years in the immediate period preceding the closing date for receipt of application.
- The Application form(Annexure-‘A’) & Admit Cards (Annexure-‘B’ & ‘B–l’)_must be ï¬lled by the candidate in his/her own handwriting/typewritten. Correction, if any, should be legible and attested by the candidate.
- Applications, which are not on prescribed format or not accompanied by the required enclosures or incomplete or defective shall be summarily rejected. No representation or correspondence regarding such rejection shall be entertained under any circumstances.
- Candidate serving in Govemment/ Semi Govemment/ Public Sector undertakings should apply through proper channel. No objection certiï¬cate (NOC) from their employer will be required to be submitted with application form.
- Candidates are not required to submit any original certiï¬cate in support to their claims with application form. They should ensure they fulï¬ll all the eligibility conditions for admission to the tests. If on veriï¬cation at a later stage, it is found that they do not fulï¬ll any of the eligibility conditions, their candidature will be cancelled by the Selection Board.
