Salary package being offered by SAU is highly attractive, compared to what is offered in Central or State Universities in SAARC region on equivalent positions. In addition to the basic pay, the University pays DA (86%) and HRA (25%). Higher starting basic salary may be offered to candidates with significantly greater experience than the minimum required for the position. Pension contribution (10%), Health benefits, Group Insurance and Relocation Allowance, as per rules, are also admissible. The salary will be paid in Indian Rupees and is taxable.
Candidates would be required to provide names and contact details of two referees, who can provide references relating to suitability of the candidate for the post. One of the referees must be current/most recent employer of the candidate. References from friends or relatives will not be accepted. Candidates are also required to request the two referees, mentioned by the candidates in their application form, to send recommendation letters, in a sealed cover, relating to their suitability for the post to the Registrar, South Asian University, Akbar Bhawan Campus, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi – 110021, India.
