General Conditions:
- No Travelling Allowance/ Daily Allowance will be paid to the candidates for appearing in the interview.
- The contract engagement will not confer any right on the candidate for regularization in OIL.
- The candidates should be of sound health and has to provide a fitness certificate from a Govt. registered medical practitioner at the time of joining in the prescribed format.
- The candidate will have to submit a character and antecedents verification certificate from concerned authorities at the time of joining.
- Local conveyance @ Rs. 6,000/- per month will be paid.
- Mobile & Landline telephone reimbursements for due discharge of official responsibilities subject to a maximum of Rs. 1750/- per month or actual whichever is lower, will be paid.
- Travel/ boarding during all official tours outside the place of posting will be provided/ arranged by OIL and an incidental of Rs. 250/- per day will be paid for the actual number of days worked for OIL outside the place of posting.
- Any dispute with regard to the engagement against this advertisement will be under the jurisdiction of Dibrugarh district court only.

- Upper age limit as on the date of walk in interview for the above posts is 65 years.
- The selected candidate(s) shall be entitled for 10 days casual leave during six months engagement.
- The candidates should have experience of Production Engineering/ Petroleum Engineering job in upstream oil and gas company associated with production of crude oil and natural gas.
- The candidates should have field experience of execution of production testing operations and associated planning job .
- Candidate should have knowledge of relevant OMR, OISD rules & regulation of practice for production related works.
- Candidates having production testing experience in HPHT wells will have added advantage.
- Execute and support all production testing and evacuation activities related to on-going and upcoming oilfield projects of Oil India Limited conforming to safety standards at various locations.
- Preparation of specification of all production components related to respective projects.
- Should have working knowledge of contract execution.
- Examine/ analyze/prove job execution program prepared by service providers.
- Calculate production items/ equipment requirement at site and maintain inventory.
- Oversee field execution of testing and HF operations at oilfields and any other related jobs associated with production activity of the Project and ensure compliance as per industry practice. \
- Ensure compliance of execution of all production related jobs at site as per contract terms and conditions.
- The candidates should have experience in any Govt./Public/Private sector organization of repute. The candidates will be responsible for supervision and monitoring of Projects in and around KG, Basin Project operational area Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh.
- To execute major building/ infrastructure/ road related projects. Candidates should have knowledge of relevant IS codes of practice for Civil Engineering works.

- The story of Oil India Limited (OIL) traces and symbolises the development and growth of the Indian petroleum industry. From the discovery of crude oil in the far east of India at Digboi, Assam in 1889 to its present status as a fully integrated upstream petroleum company, OIL has come far, crossing many milestones. - On February 18, 1959, Oil India Private Limited was incorporated to expand and develop the newly discovered oil fields of Naharkatiya and Moran in the Indian North East. In 1961, it became a joint venture company between the Indian Government and Burmah Oil Company Limited, UK.
- In 1981, OIL became a wholly-owned Government of India enterprise. Today, OIL is a premier Indian National Oil Company engaged in the business of exploration, development and production of crude oil and natural gas, transportation of crude oil and production of LPG. OIL also provides various E&P related services and holds 26% equity in Numaligarh Refinery Limited.
- The Authorized share capital of the Company is Rs. 2000 Crores. The Issued, Subscribed and Paid share capital of the company is Rs. 1134.90 Crores.
