General Instruction:
- Walk- in interview for below mention posts will be conducted on 9 August 2019 for “AIIMS Rishikesh & SIiWA-‘I’I{DC Project” and extramural research project funded by SEWA-THDC titled “Effect non-pharmacological intervention on adults (Age>30) with cardiovascular risk in selected rural
block of Rishikesh”.The posts with detail qualification are as follow. - candidate must bring completely filled application form (Attached as Annexure-1 with advertisement.
- selected candidate shall be working in outreach field areas of Garhwal region.
- No TA/ DA will be paid for the interview.
- Validity of the short list will be valid for maximum up to 6 Month or comptetion of project whichever is earlier.
- The posts are purely on contract basis; No claim for any other regular post in AIIMS Rishikesh shall be entertained.
- Experience should have been gained after acquiring minimum essential qualification.
- No other allowance/ facilities other than consolidated salary shall be admissible.
- Decision of the principar investigator of froject wiil be finar.
- submission of wrong or false information during the process of selection shall disqualify the candidature at any stage.
- If performance of the appointee is not found satisfactory, appointment can be terminated at any time without any notice.

- The government of India has launched the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY) under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, New Delhi with the objective of correcting regional imbalances in the availability of affordable and reliable tertiary healthcare services and also to augment facilities for quality medical education creating a critical mass of doctors and conduct research in the country relevant to the area Main mission is to establish a centre of excellence in medical education, training, health care and research imbued with scientific culture, compassion for the sick and commitment to serve the under served.

- The institution will be expected to absorb talent, provide highly trained medical and paramedical manpower for the country and conduct research in national and regional health problems. The institute, outside the purview of the Medical Council of India shall be allowed to experiment with innovations in medical education and serve as advisory body for making government health policies
- Main objectives according to Director are to create an excellent academic and educational milieu for providing a platform for development of quality medical services, teaching and research. Other objectives are to achieve an epitome of quality in medical education delivery and training system and to render International standard quality patient care and health care development system.
- We aim to enhance the reputation of our country by relevant research in medical field, creating clinical excellence and social awareness in young doctors and giving bright minds of Uttrakhand a preference in participation of path breaking research and giving new dimensions to medical science.
- AIIMS, Rishikesh is one of the SIX AIIMS like apex healthcare institutes being established by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY). With the aim of correcting regional imbalances in quality tertiary level healthcare in the country, and attaining self sufficiency in graduate and postgraduate medical education and training the PMSSY planned to set up 6 new AIIMS like institutions in under served areas of the country.
- These institutions are being established by an Act of Parliament on the lines of the original All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi which imparts both undergraduate and postgraduate medical education in all its branches and related fields, along with nursing and paramedical training. To bring together in one place, educational facilities of the highest order for the training of personnel in all branches of health care activity.
