General Instruction:
- Applications are invited for the following post for conducting the study on ‘Understanding the Pattern and Processes of Temporary and Permanent Labour Migration from Rural Jharkhand: An exploratory study’ sponsored by Indian Council of Social Science Research, New Delhi. The post is purely temporary only for two months; it may be extendable depending on requirement.
- The Candidates are required to send, a copy of Curriculum-Vitae (CV), Copies of Certificates, Testimonials and work Experience by e-mail to ldyadav63@gmail.com by January 12, 2021 and should appear for an interview on January 13, 2020 at 12.00 PM through audio/online video calling.
- The intending bidder must read the terms and conditions carefully. He should only submit his bid if he considers himself eligible and he is in possession of all the documents required.

Pant Social Science Institute as mentioned in NIT, receipt for deposition of original EMD to account office of G.B. Pant Social Science Institute and other documents as specified.
- Those contractors not registered on the website mentioned above, are required to get registered beforehand.
- The intending bidder must have valid class-III digital signature to submit the bid.

- The Govind Ballabh Pant Social Science Institute (GBPSSI) is a research institute located in Jhusi, Prayagraj (Allahabad) in India.
- Govind Ballabh Pant Social Science Institute is one of the total 14 Institutes establishments in all India established by Indian Council of Social Science and Research.
- The Govind Ballabh Pant Social Science Institute became a Constituent Institute of the University of Allahabad on July 14, 2005, when the University of Allahabad Act, 2005 came into force. Established in 1980 as one in the network of Social Science Research Institutes, which Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) set up in association with the State Governments, the Institute entered privileges of the University of Allahabad in 2005. The Institute undertakes interdisciplinary research in the field of social sciences.
- The main areas of research at the Institute include development planning and policy, environment, health and population, human development, rural development and management, culture, power and change, democracy and institutions.
- Founded and opened in 1980,by Indian Council of Social Science and Research. GBPSSI became a “Constituent College/Institute” of the University of Allahabad in 2005. Courses offered include an MBA in Rural Development, A DPhil, and the first MPhil programme in the University of Allahabad or any of its constituency. Institute has its own prestige in the field of social sciences through its contribution in rural development and research. Since its establishment the institute has made many social contributions.
