General Instruction:
- Applications are invited from Eligible candidates (Indian citizens) for posts at Regional Resource Center (Eastern India) Telemedicine, IMS, BHU, Sponsored by Ministry of Health & Family welfare, Govt. of India under Ayushman Bharat. The Application Form is available to download. Candidate has to fill up the application form giving full details with passport size self-attested photograph, photocopies of mark sheets, certificates and other necessary documents for the following posts. The completed application form should reach the office of Regional Resource Centre (Eastern Region) Telemedicine, IMS, BHU by hand/ by registered post/ by email with scanned copies before or on 24.01.2020, upto5 PM. Appointment will be on purely contract basis for 5 months, renewable depending upon the performance of the candidate &for the continuation of the Scheme. However, Candidate will make no claim for any further extension. Suitable candidates from OBC/SC/ST/Physically handicapped/ female will be considered as per Govt. of U.P. (NHM) rules.
- Last date of form submission is 24 January 2020 by 5PM, list of shortlisted candidates will be published on website and also candidates will be informed by email on 25 January 2020. Date of interview- 04/02/2020 at 3 PM at committee room of director, Institute of Medical Sciences, (opposite to the office of Director, IMS) Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. All the notifications, amendments, corrigendum, updates etc. related to this advertisement, if any, will be published only on the website of BHU
- Candidate will be paid consolidated amount as mentioned against each post.
- The duration of duty shall be from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm for 6 days a week or as and when asked by the Head of Institute or the Coordinator of Regional Resource Centre (telemedicine), IMS, BHU, Varanasi.
- Rule for leaves and holidays will be applicable as per the rule of Banaras Hindu University for candidates appointed on purely contract basis,
- The service conditions and facilities will be as per rules of Banaras Hindu University/NHM for candidates appointed on purely contract basis.
- No obligation of any kind shall be fixed on the part of BHU Varanasi.
- The place of work shall be Regional Resource Centre (telemedicine), IMS, 1314U, Varanasi.
- Any dispute arising at a later stage shall be confined to the jurisdiction of Varanasi.
- The decision of Honorable Vice Chancellor, Banaras Hindu University on any dispute arising at a later stage shall be final.
- Candidate has to bring their original documents for verification before the Interview. 10.The selected candidate has to execute the contract document provided on a non-judiciary stamp paper of Rs. 100/- duly notarized at his/her own expense.
- The University reserves the right to withdraw any advertised post(s) at any time without giving any reason.
- In case of any inadvertent mistake in the process of selection which may be detected at any stage even after the issue of appointment letter, the RRC/BHU reserves the right to modify/withdraw/cancel any communication made to the candidate.

- Banaras Hindu University (Hindi: [kaʃi hind̪u viʃvəvid̪yaləy], BHU), formerly Central Hindu College, is a public central university located in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. It was established in 1916 by Madan Mohan Malaviya, with co-operation from Annie Besant.With over 30,000 students residing in campus, it is the largest residential university in Asia.
- The university’s main campus spread over 1,300 acres (5.3 km2) was built on land donated by the Kashi Naresh Prabhu Narayan Singh, the hereditary ruler of Banaras (“Kashi” being an alternative name for Banaras or Varanasi). The south campus, spread over 2,700 acres (11 km2),hosts the Krishi Vigyan Kendra (Agriculture Science Centre)and is located in Barkachha in Mirzapur district, about 60 km (37 mi) from Banaras.
- BHU is organised into 6 institutes and 14 faculties (streams) and about 140 departments.As of 2017, the total student enrolment at the university is 27,359 coming from 48 countries.It has over 75 hostels for resident students. The university’s engineering institute was designated as an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT BHU) in June 2012.
- BHU celebrated its centenary year in 2015-2016. The Centenary Year Celebration Cell organised various programs including cultural programs, feasts, competitions and Mahamana Madan Mohan Malviya Birth Anniversary on 25 December 2015.
