1st class Masters degree in life sciences with 2 yrs experience 2nd class Masters degree with PhD in a relevant subject . Graduate in science /relevant subjects with 3 yrs experience. / 12 th pass in science stream and 2 yrs experience.

General Information:
- A call for various posts are announced for a research project titled “Improving the Health Care Access and Quality in the Context of Achieving Universal Health Coverage (UHC) among Scheduled Tribes: An Implementation Research” funded by Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) under Dr.S.Kalaiselvi.
- Selected candidates are expected to work in tribal area and health facilities situated around Ramtek block, Nagpur. The candidate has to apply with duly filled applications in prescribed format as given in the annexure with all the necessary qualifying certificates and proof for previous work experience. The total duration of the project is for 2 ½ years (February 2020 to August 2022). - Duration of first appointment will be of 11 months. The contract will be renewed based on the performance evaluation by the project investigator with the approval of the Director. In case, the candidate is not performing well the candidate can be terminated with a notice of one month.
- All these posts are tenure jobs for fixed duration under funded projects.
- These are not the regular posts under ICMR or AIIMS Nagpur.
- Based on this experience, the selected candidate cannot claim any permanent employment either from ICMR or from AIIMS Nagpur.
- In case the candidate wishes to resign from the post, he/she should furnish a notice of one month period.
- Once the project duration is completed the tenure is automatically over for all the candidates selected for this project.
- The candidate should be able to talk fluently in Marathi and Hindi .
- No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
- Apart from the consolidated mentioned salary per month the candidate is not admissible for any other allowances.

- The All India Institute of Medical Sciences [AIIMS] was designed to serve as a nucleus for nurturing excellence in all aspects of health and wellness program throughout India. AIIMS are a group of autonomous public medical institutes that have been declared by an Act of Parliament 1956 as “Institute of National Importance”. All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Nagpur is one among the four AIIMS announced during the budget speech 2014-15 under Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY). Foundation stone for AIIMS, Nagpur was laid by Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi and Hon’ble Chief Minister of Maharashtra Shri Devendra Fadnavis at Sector 20, MIHAN. Union Cabinet Minister for Road Transport and Highway and Shipping (GoI), Shri Nitin Gadkari and many other dignitaries graced the occasion. The onsite work is going on in full swing and probability of commencement of OPD health care services in early 2019. The construction and electrification works in permanent MIHAN campus of AIIMS, Nagpur has reached its final stages for OPD services.
- AIIMS Nagpur offers full time undergraduate degree program MBBS that has an innovative curriculum designed to meet the healthcare needs of country.
