General Instruction:
- Candidates are advised to read all the instructions carefully before applying and ensure to fulfil stipulated eligibility criteria as on the date of eligibility.
- Applications which are incomplete, or received after the prescribed date or received without supporting documents in respect of age, educational qualification , caste certificate and experience etc., will not be considered and summarily rejected at the screening of application stage itself .
- Mode of Selection will be Interview (Refer to para 2 of this section). NPS Trust reserves the right to modify the selection procedure, if deemed fit.
- Candidates should satisfy themselves about their eligibility for the post applied for. NPS Trust will call the candidates for interview based on the details furnished in the application. NPS Trust shall determine their eligibility only at the time of Final Interview. At the time of the final interview, candidate should invariably be in possession of all the requisite certificates, IN ORIGINAL, in support of their claim with regards to their application.
- Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria and are desirous of applying for both the posts i.e. Officer Grade ‘E’ and Officer Grade ‘D’, may do so, by submitting separate applications along with relevant supporting documents and paying requisite fees for each such post. However, not more than one application should be submitted by a candidate for the same post. In case of multiple applications received from a candidate for the same post only the latest application of such candidate for that particular post shall be considered.
- Candidates who are already in service of Govt./Quasi-Govt. Organizations and Public Sector Banks /Undertakings will have to produce a ‘No Objection Certificate’ in format prescribed at Section II (C) from their employer, at the time of Final Interview. Such candidates shall also have to furnish Vigilance clearance, list of major/minor penalties, if any, imposed during last 10 years, Integrity Certificate and Annual Confidential Reports (ACRs)/ Annual Performance Appraisal Reports (APARs) for the last 5 years along with application directly to NPS Trust. Before appointment in NPS Trust, a proper discharge certificate from the employer will have to be produced.
- NPS Trust reserves the right to raise the minimum standards in respect of qualification and experience in order to restrict the number of candidates to be called for the Interview. Thus, merely fulfilling the eligibility conditions laid down in the advertisement as regards qualifications and experience, would not automatically entitle any candidate to be called for the Interview.
- NPS Trust reserves the right to cancel the advertisement fully or partly without assigning any reason.
- Canvassing in any form will result in disqualification of the candidature of candidate. Also, NPS Trust may report all such cases to the law enforcement agencies for penal action against such candidate.
- If the candidate is not eligible or have knowingly or wilfully furnished incorrect or false particulars or suppressed material information, his/her candidature will be liable to be cancelled at any stage of the
- selection. If the candidate qualifies in the selection process and subsequently it is found that he/she does not fulfil the eligibility criteria, his/her candidature will be cancelled and if appointed, his/her appointment will be cancelled without any notice or compensation. Action as deemed fit will be initiated.
- Applications received after due date will not be entertained. NPS Trust takes no responsibility for any delay in receipt of application or loss thereof in postal transit.

- The decision of NPS Trust in all matters would be final and binding, and no correspondence/ representation in this regard would be entertained. Any matter pertaining to this recruitment this recruitment shall be governed by the laws of India. Only courts at New Delhi (with the exclusion of all other courts) shall have the exclusive jurisdiction to decide or adjudicate on any matter of dispute which may arise in connection with this selection process.

About Us:
- National Pension System Trust (NPST) was established by PFRDA as per the provisions of the Indian Trusts Act of 1882 for taking care of the assets and funds under the NPS in the best interest of the subscribers. The powers, functions and duties of NPS Trust are laid down under the PFRDA (National Pension System Trust) Regulations 2015, besides the provisions of the Trust deed dated 27.02.2008.
- NPS Trust is the registered owner of all assets under the NPS architecture which is held for the benefit of the subscribers under NPS. The securities are purchased by Pension Funds on behalf of, and in the name of the Trustees, however individual NPS subscriber remain beneficial owner of the securities, assets and funds. NPS Trust, under the NPS Trust regulations, is responsible for monitoring the operational and functional activities of NPS intermediaries’ viz. custodian, Pension Funds, Trustee Bank, Central Recordkeeping Agency, Point of Presence, Aggregators and that of IRDAI registered Annuity Service Providers (empanelled with PFRDA) and also for providing directions/advisory to PF(s) for protecting the interest of subscribers, ensuring compliance through audit by Independent Auditors, and Performance review of Pension Funds etc.
- The Trust is managed by a Board of Trustees appointed by PFRDA (settler of NPS Trust) from time to time. One of the Trustees from the Board is designated by PFRDA as Chairperson of the Board. PFRDA appoints a suitable person as Chief Executive Officer of the Trust (CEO) who shall be responsible for day to day administration and Management of the Trust subject to the superintendence, control and direction of the Board of NPS Trust. PFRDA has appointed Shri Munish Malik as Chief Executive Officer of NPS Trust with effect from 18th June 2018. The Board shall meet once in every three calendar months.
- National Pension System Trust is governed by the Board of Trustees who have the legal ownership of the trust and the funds. The Trust is regulated by PFRDA through the PFRDA (NPS Trust) regulations, 2015. PFRDA appoints the Chairman, Trustees and the CEO of the NPS Trust.
- The general superintendence, direction and management of the affairs of the Trust and all powers, authorities and discretions are vest in the Board of Trustees. The Board meets once in every three calendar months.
