Publication Division of NCERT will conduct walk-in-interview and skill test for engagement of three Editors one each in English, Hindi and Urdu languages and three Assistant Editors one each in English, Hindi and Urdu languages and three Editorial Assistants one each in English, Hindi and Urdu languages purely on contract basis for a period of six months with the emoluments of Rs.55,000, Rs.45000, Rs.29,000/- (consolidated) respectively. The period of engagement can be terminated at any time without assigning any reason.

Educational Qualification:
- For Editorial Assistant /Assistant Editor: A Degree in Arts or Science from a recognised University.
- For Editor: Master’s degree from a recognized University.
Note:
- It is the responsibility of the candidates to ensure that they fulfill the eligibility conditions in terms of (1) Educational qualifications (2) Experience etc.
- The appointment is purely on contractual basis and does not bestow any right on him/her for regular appointment.
- Candidates should bring their original certificates at the time of interview.
- No TA/DA is admissible either for attending the interview or joining the post. The selected candidates may be required to join immediately.
