General Information:
- The number of vacancies advertised is only approximate and is liable for modification including reduction with reference to vacancy position at any time before finalization of selection.
- No conveyance, TA/DA or any other allowance will be paid for appearing for the Written test/ Skill test.
- Candidates already serving in any recognized institution, autonomous body or Central/State Government undertaking should apply through proper channel.
- The above posts are on permanent basis and probation period will be as per rules. The CEO reserves the right to accept/reject any or all the applications without assigning any reasons thereof.
- If the applicant wishes to apply for more than one post, separate application for each post should be made through online mode.
- Applications and fee payment received through offline mode will be summarily rejected and the candidates are advised to apply only through online.
- Examination fee Rs.100/- (Rupees One hundred only) is payable only through online mode using Net Banking/credit card/Debit card.
- Applicants should also pay the service charges applicable to the State Bank of India.
- Applicants can avail exemption from paying examination fees as per eligibility criteria.
- Offline mode of payment in the form of Demand Draft / Postal Order etc. will not be accepted and the applications forwarded with such modes of payment will be summarily rejected. (For further details regarding the Examination fee concessions refer para 2 of ‘Instructions to Applicants’).
- The skill test is only qualifying in nature. The marks obtained in the skill test by the applicants who are declared qualified for admission to the written examination will not be counted for determining their final order of merit. There will be no interview for any of the above mentioned posts.
- The questions for written test will be set only in English and the questions will be of Objective/Descriptive type. There are no Negative marks for wrong answers.
- For determining ranks of such candidates who have secured equal marks, age of candidates whose marks are equal will be considered for assigning ranks.
- No Objection Certificate obtained from appropriate authority shall be produced at the time of Certificate Verification. Failure to produce the same at the time of Certificate Verification, will lead to the rejection of candidature.
- Interested candidates with qualifications may apply online for concerned posts as per given online application form. No need to send print to Kirkee Cantonment Board at this stage. Eligible candidates will be intimated about further proceedings. Keeping a print copy for future use is advised.
- Examination fee of Rs.100/- (Nil for SC/ST/Pwd/ Transgender/ Women candidate) should be paid at the time of submitting the online application.

- Applicants should apply only through ONLINE MODE in the Cantonment Board website https://kirkee.cantt.gov.in Candidates need to create login in website. (Refer guidelines available in website for details).
- The applicant should have scanned image of their photograph and signature to upload the photo and signature.
- Select the name of the post or service for which the applicant wishes to apply.
- Applicants are required to upload their photograph and signature as per the specifications given in the Guidelines for Scanning and Uploading of Photograph and Signature.
- All the particulars mentioned in the online application including name of the Applicant, Post applied Educational Qualifications Communal Category, Date of Birth, Address, Email ID etc. will be considered as final and no modifications will be allowed after the last date specified for applying online. Since certain fields are fixed and cannot be edited, applicants are requested to fill in the online application form with the utmost care and caution as no correspondence regarding change of details will be entertained.
- After submitting the application, applicants can print / save their application in PDF format. On entering registration number and Date of Birth, applicants can download their application and print, if required.
- Need not send the printout of the online application or any other supporting documents to the Cantonment Board Kirkee. The certificate verification will be done only for the selected and waitlisted candidates.

About Us:
- Kirkee Cantonment is one of the oldest Cantonments in India, having its own place in history. On 5th November 1817, the battle of Kirkee (Kirkee) was fought between the Marathas and the British on the ground covering the present day town. It was established in the year 1817. Kirkee Cantonment covers an area of 3207.3394 acres of land. In 1939, when the Second World War began, Kirkee was called the Home Of Ordnance since both the Kirkee Arsenal and the I.A.O.C. School were located here.
- Kirkee Cantonment has a varied mix of important units and establishments, like, BEG and Centre, CAFVD, 512 Army Base Workshop, College of Military Engineering, Ammunition Factory, High Explosives Factory and New AU & RC, Archival Unit of Defence Estates, Southern Command.
Kirkee is a Class I Cantonment (Population 70399) located at a height of 559.91 M. above the sea level having a moderate climate. - The general vision of the KCB is discharging all functions and Performing all duties as required under the Cantonments Act, 2006 and any other Law for the time being in force to the optimum satisfaction of the end users, the general public, subject of course, to the complete compliance with the provisions of the LAW of the land.
- To educate and persuade the staff of the KCB about their law bound duties and the need for their performing the same with due diligence and utmost devotion so as to leave no or little room for the general public to remind them of their duties and complain about their failure to perform the same.
- Similarly to educate and persuade the general public about the duties they are bound by law to perform in greater public interest so that the officers/officials of the KCB get no or less opportunity to resort to legal recourse to enforce Law.
- One who has the right to complain about the cleanliness of the dust-bin shall be made aware of his corresponding duty not to let the garbage litter around the dustbin but to dump it in the dustbin only.
