General Instruction:

- Candidates are advised to SAVE a particular SECTION and then only proceed to fill the next SECTION.
- Candidates must ensure that all columns in all THREE (3) SECTIONS are filled and then click on SAVE & DOWNLOAD button for viewing the final filled application form. As a next step, please click on SUBMIT button – a popup box will appear showing Declaration to be submitted by the Candidates. It is mandatory to fill the DECLARATION box, before finally submitting the Online Application Form.
- Upon successful submission of Online Application Form, the applicants will receive PDF version of submitted application to their registered email id. If the PDF is not received in the inbox the applicant should check their spam folder.
- Candidates are required to submit ONLINE applications only. OFFLINE applications, if submitted, will be summarily be rejected.
- There is no application fees.
- Candidates will be short-listed for Written Test on the basis of the information provided by them in their online applications. They must ensure that such information is true. If at any subsequent stage or at the time of Written Test any information given by them in their online applications is found to be false, their candidature will be liable to be nullified.
- Calling a candidate for Written test merely indicates that it is felt that he/she with others may be suitable for the post and conveys no assurance whatsoever that he/she will be recommended or selected or his/her conditions specified in the application will be accepted.
- The Institute reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates for written test to a reasonable limit on the basis of qualifications, level and relevance of experience higher than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement and other academic achievements. The Institute also reserves the right of rejecting any or all the applications without assigning any reasons therefore.
- Applications will be summarily rejected if all the relevant certificates are not uploaded as per the instructions.
- The eligibility of the candidate in terms of qualifications / experience, etc. shall be considered as on the last date of application i.e., 05/11/2020.
- The Institute has a right to decide the mode of screening and testing the applicant for shortlisting and selection.
- Candidates should satisfy themselves, before applying, that they possess at least the minimum essential qualifications, knowledge, and experience laid down in the advertisement.
- In case of any inadvertent mistake in the process of selection which may be detected at any stage even after the issue of offer of appointment, the Institute reserves the right to withdraw/cancel/modify any communication made to the candidates.
- The Institute reserves the right not to fill up any or all advertised posts, cancel the advertisement in whole or in part without assigning any reason and the decision of the Institute in this regard shall be final.
- Educational qualifications prescribed in this advertisement must have been obtained from a recognized Board/Council/University/Institute.
- First Class degree/post graduate degree/diploma means and implies 60% marks or an equivalent CGPA in a grade point scale, wherever grading system is followed.
- BE/B.Tech should be of 4 years duration, Diploma must be of 3 years duration.
- Years of Experience’ wherever prescribed is the minimum years of experience required and candidates with longer years of experience may also apply.
- Relevant experience’ means experience related to the area of the post advertised. Screening Committee will determine relevancy of experience and its decision will be final.
- No campus accommodation will be provided.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Written Test.
- Candidates are advised to bring Photo ID Card (Driving License, Voters Card, PAN Card and Aadhar Card). Candidates are further advised to bring all the original Educational & Experience documents for Verification with one sent of self-attested copies at the time of Written test.

- IIT Hyderabad is one among the 2nd generation of IITs started by the Govt. of India. Today IITH offers 9 B.Tech programs, 16 M.Tech programs, 3 M.Sc programs, 5 M.Phil programs, 1 M.Des program and Ph.D. programs in all branches of engineering, science, liberal arts and design. - IIT Hyderabad was established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India under the Institutes of Technology (Amendment) Act, 2011. The Act was passed in the Lok Sabha on 24 March 2011 and by the Rajya Sabha on 30 April 2012.It was set up in technical and financial assistance from Government of Japan.
- IIT Hyderabad began functioning on 18 August 2008 from a temporary campus in Ordnance Factory Medak, with Prof. U. B. Desai as the founding director. In July 2015, it moved to its 576-acre permanent campus at Kandi, Sangareddy. It is close to the outer ring road and located on NH-65.
- Admission to BTech programs is through the Joint Entrance Examination – Advanced for 285 seats.Among all the IITs, IIT Kanpur and IIT Hyderabad had all their seats taken between 2013 and 2017.
- Admission to the B.Des program is through the Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED).[12] The B.Des program started at IIT Hyderabad from August 2019.with 10 seats. All qualified candidates with a valid Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) score become eligible to apply for M.Des admission.
- Admission to MTech programs requires BTech/B.E. degree or equivalent in the respective or allied areas with an exceptional academic record and possessing a Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) score. Admission to the MSc program requires BSc or an equivalent degree with 65% for GE/OBC, 60% for SC/ST or equivalent in the respective or allied areas with an exceptional academic record and possessing a valid Joint Admission Test to MSc (JAM) score. Admission to the M. A. Development Studies program also requires an undergraduate degree with an exceptional academic record and candidates must clear the entrance exam conducted by the institute.
