- NUMALIGARH REFINERY LIMITED (NRL) is a leading Miniratna Category-I PSU engaged in the refining and marketing of petroleum products and is a group company of Bharat Petroleum Corporation
Limited (BPCL). NRL operates a 3.0 MMTPA Petroleum Refinery at Numaligarh in the District of Golaghat, Assam and have a Marketing Terminal at Siliguri. Recently CCEA, Govt. of India has approved expansion of its refining capacity to 9.0 MMTPA and to the construction of associated product pipeline and crude oil pipeline. The Company intends to engage Apprentices for training in various Trades / Disciplines as a part of the National Policy on Skill Development and Entrepreneurship for creating skilled manpower in India. - Eligible applicants who wish to apply for the one year Apprenticeship training will have to register themselves in the Govt. of India website www.apprenticeship.gov.in and get the Apprenticeship Registration number. Filling up Apprenticeship Registration number is a mandatory field in the online application form.
- Selection shall be made based on percentage of marks in the qualifying examination.
- While minimum age shall be 18, there will be no upper age limit for Apprenticeship Training.
- BoPT ( Board of Practical Training) Govt. of India does not allow signing of Apprenticeship Training contract with candidates after 3 years 3 months from the date of passing the qualifying examination.
In line with BoPT’s policy, the candidates having BoPT’s apprenticeship registration number who passed out the qualifying examination more than 3 years ago, shall not be eligible to apply. - Selected candidates will be called for document verification through E-maiIlSMS.
- After selection, the contract signing along with all other formalities with RDA T/BOPTINSDC, as the case may be, shall be carried out. Induction process/ Training as per Govt. directives shall be carried out by Learning Centre, NRL.
- On completion of one year Apprenticeship Training, performance during the Apprenticeship period will be evaluated as per procedure prescribed by Government.
- Medical treatment will be provided free of cost at VK-NRL Hospital, No referral cost will be reimbursed. N.B All communication with the candidates shall be through their registered Email Id only. Candidates not uploading required information before the closing date will be summarily rejected and will not be considered in the selection process.

- Our product range includes LPG, Naphtha, Motor Spirit ( MS), Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) Superior Kerosene Oil ( SKO) High Speed Diesel (HSD), Raw Petroleum Coke ( RPC ) Calcined Petroleum Coke ( CPC), Sulphur, Wax, Nitrogen, Mineral Turpentine Oil (MTO), Special Boiling Point Spirit (SBPS) and Liquid Sulphur.
