General Condition:
- All the posts carry usual allowances as admissible to Central Government Employees of similar status at Bhubaneswar,Odisha.
- The aspiring applicants satisfying the eligibility criteria in all respect can submit their application through ON-LINE mode followed by OFFLINE application in prescribed application format. The On-line registration of application will be made available on AIIMS, Bhubaneswar official website i.e. http://aiimsbhubaneswar.nic.in. The link for submission of online applications in respect of above said posts along with other relevant information will be activated on the date of advertisement on Employment News/ Rojgar Samachar or earlier (as posted on the website).
- The last date of online submission of applications will be 30 days from the date of publication of the advertisement in Employment News/Rojgar Samachar. In case the last date falls on weekly off or holidays, then the last date of submission of application will be shifted to the next working days (up to 5.00 PM). Candidates who apply through online have to send the hard copies of duly filled Offline application in prescribed format along with signed copy of online application and self-attested copies of certificates/documents in support of fulfilling the essential criteria of age, educational
qualification, teaching/research experiences etc. besides others in support of their candidature within 15 days from the last date of receipt of online application. The hard copy of application shall be enclosed with self-attested copies of Matriculation Certificate, MBBS Degree Certificate/Mark-Sheets, MD/MS/DM/MCh or equivalent certificates/Mark sheets,Teaching/Research Experiences Certificates etc. as provided in the prescribed application format. The Experience Certificate should clearly show the period of experience, duration of experience (“from” to “to”), Nature of experience (either teaching or research) etc. The candidates can only mention those teaching experiences which are recognised by MCI/Govt. of India. The signed hard copies of both Online & Offline applicationsin prescribed format as mentioned above along with all above mentioned certificates/documents should be sent through Speed Post/Courier etc. within stipulated period. - Candidates are advised to fill their correct and active e-mail ID in the online application and offline application as per the prescribed format, as all correspondences will be made by the Institute through e-mail. Test/Interview schedule will be mailed in due course to the candidate in their registered e-mail.
- The applicants applying in response to this advertisement should satisfy themselves regarding their eligibility for the post applied for. They must be fulfilling eligibility criteria as on the closing date of online applications failing which their application will be rejected.
- The On-line application will be closed on the last date of the receipt of application i.e., 30 days from the date of publication of advertisement in Employment News. The candidature of such applicant who fails to complete the online application submission by the stipulated date and time will not be considered and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
- The candidate must ensure that their photo and signature should be clearly visible in preview at the time of filling of application in online mode. If photo/signature image is displayed small or not visible in preview on website, that means photo/signature is not as per the AIIMS, Bhubaneswar prescribed guidelines and in that case, their application will be rejected. So, candidates are advised to be careful while uploading their photo and signature. Both must be visible clearly on Online Application Form.
- In case a candidate wishes to apply for more than one post, he/she is required to fill in the form separately through On-line mode only followed by Offline application as prescribed and separate application fees as applicable is to be paid.

- Candidates applying under any of the reserved category posts, viz. SC/ST/OBC/PwBD (OPH-OL)/EWS will be considered subject to Caste/OH Certificate issued by the appropriate/Competent Authority on the prescribed format. Community should be clearly and legibly mentioned in the Certificate.
- Applicants applying for the posts reserved for OBC must obtain certificate of OBC (non- creamy layer) in the prescribed form issued by Competent Authority. The certificate should be of the current financial year, in accordance with instructions issued by the Government of India in this respect from time to time. Applicants should ascertain that they belong to the reserved categories (caste) enlisted in the Central List for the Other Backward Classes. OBC candidate(s) should not belongs to Creamy Layer and their sub-caste should match with the entries in Central List of OBC, failing which their candidatures will not be considered under any of the applied reserved category post(s). Similarly, EWS certificate will be strictly as per the instructions of the Government of India.
- Only such persons would be eligible for reservation under PwBD (OPH-OL) quota in service/posts who suffer from not less than 40% of physical disability. Person who wants to avail the benefit of reservation would have to submit a Disability Certificate as issued by a Competent Authority in prescribed format.
- The candidates are to satisfy all eligibility criteria before online application. They must possess the educational qualification and experiences as recognised by the Govt. of India. Their candidature will be cancelled at any stage if it is found that their educational qualification or experiences is not recognised by the Govt. of India.
- Qualifications and Experiences: Qualifications and experiences as prescribed may be relaxed in exceptional cases at the discretion of the Selection Committee with prior approval of the Competent Authority. The experience will be counted as on last date of submission of online application. The equivalent qualification will be decided by the Competent Authority of AIIMS, Bhubaneswar and his/her decision in this regard will be the final.
- Short Listing/Methods of the Selection: The prescribed qualification is minimum and mere possessing the same does not entitle any candidate to be called for interview or for selection. Based on bio-data, the Screening Committee may shortlist candidates for interview. If required there may be Screening test to shortlist candidates for interviews in case large number of candidates apply for a post or posts. Candidates called for interview will have to produce all relevant original documents in proof of details furnished in their application at the time of interview. They may also be asked to submit an affidavit/declaration as decided by the AIIMS, Bhubaneswar at time of Interview. The methodology of Selection will be decided by the Selection Committee as deemed fit besides any other matter relating to the selection process.
- Interviews will be held at AIIMS Bhubaneswar or any other place as decided by the Director, AIIMS, Bhubaneswar. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.

- All India Institute of Medical Sciences Bhubaneswar (AIIMS Bhubaneswar), formerly Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose All India Institute of Medical Sciences,is a medical college and medical research public university located in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. The institute operates autonomously under the aegis of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. It was established in 2012 and the foundation stone was laid by late (Bharat Ratna)Shri. Atal Bihari Vajpayee on 15 July 2003.
- AIIMS Bhubaneswar is situated on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar. It was built on about 100 acres of land in the Sijua neighborhood of Bhubaneswar.Vipul Green Tower is present opposite to the Main Hospital Gate AIIMS – Bhubaneswar is divided into three sections: a hospital, medical college, and residential complex. The hospital was built by AIIMS at a cost of 2.64 billion (US$37 million). Approximately 1 billion (US$14 million) was projected to be spent for the construction of the medical college and 500 million (US$7.0 million) for the construction of the student housing.There will also be a 350-bed satellite location in Kalama village, Jaleswar block, Balasore district.978-bed AIIMS Bhubaneswar was inaugurated by Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Gulam Nabi Azad on 26 February 2014.
- The AIIMS Campus extends over 100 acres, consisting of the hospital complex and residential area. The hospital complex consists of a 900-bed multi speciality hospital with 43 departments. The Academic Area present in the complex houses the Academic Block, College of Nursing and Central Library. The Academic Blocks consists of 4 Lecture Halls and Departmental Labs of Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Forensic Medicine, Community Medicine. All the 41 departments have departmental cabins, labs, library room as well as conference rooms. A stationery and snacks outlet is also housed in the Academic Building. The Academic Building also houses the offices of Director, Dean, Admin and other staff departments like Finance, Electric, Engineers and the central library. The residential complex consists of three Boys hostels and two girls Hostels for Undergraduate Students of MBBS, Nursing and Allied Sciences. The hostels have an 800-room capacity. Four Postgraduate Hostels along with four Staff and Faculty Blocks are also present. The Director’s Bungalow and Guest House is located near Main Residential Gate.
- The hospital has a total of 43 Departments including the pre clinical, para clinical, speciality and super speciality departments. It houses about 920 beds including private beds with 40 additional disaster beds. A New Trauma Level 1 Centre and Burn Speciality Building is under construction. A 500 Bed Patient Relative Resting Shelter “Dharamsala” supported by NALCO is also completed and will soon be opened for public use. Telemedicine Services are provided through a dedicated app called “AIIMS Bhubaneswar Swasthya App” developed by CDAC Noida.Other than this whatsapp and voice call facilities are also provided. As part of COVID CARE, Convalescent Plasma Therapy had been started in Hospital.
