General Information:
- Applications are invited from eligible candidates to attend virtual interview (online through video conferencing) for the temporary positions of Research Associate/Senior Research Fellows/Junior Research Fellows/Project Associates/Technical Assistant/ Field Worker as detailed below. Eligible candidates may send their application in the prescribed proforma to the e-mail address msmrecruitment2021@gmail.comlatest by 30-4-2021along with the CV, self attested scanned copies of original certificates of educational qualifications, experience certificates, publications, additional qualifications (if any) to be uploaded as a Single PDF File in the same order as mentioned here. After screening of the applications, the short listed candidates will be informed about the details of online interview (Date and Time) by email/mobile .Original documents will be verified at the time of appointment. If any candidate is found to have submitted false claims at later stage, their candidature will be summarily rejected.
- For SRF/JRF &Project Assistant/Technical Assistant/Lab Assistant: 35 years for men and 40 years for women
- For RA: 40 years for men and 45 years for women
- For YP I & II: Should have completed 21 years and maximum 45 years.
- Age relaxation up to 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC & 10 years for PH candidates available as per rules
- No Objection Certificate from the present employer is must if already working.
- The above positions are purely temporary/contractual for one year or when project ends whichever is earlier.
- No TA/DA will be paid to any candidate for attending the interview.
- Canvassing in any form will lead to cancellation of candidature.
- The decision of Director, IIRR would be final and binding in all aspects.
- The candidates must bring their latest passport size photograph, original certificates and also attested copies of educational qualifications, age, caste, experience, publications etc.,
- Emoluments will be fixed as per the guidelines of funding agencies from time to time.

- The decision of PI of the Project would be final and binding in all aspects.
- Received applications will be scrutinized and suitable candidates will be called for further proceedings (Interviews etc.).

No need to send print to Indian Institute of Rice Research at this stage. Keeping a print copy for future use is advised though. - Indian Institute of Rice Research formerly Directorate of Rice Research or IIRR is a rice research institute located in Rajendranagar near Hyderabad, Telangana.
- Indian Institute of Rice Research, formerly All India coordinated Rice Improvement Project (AICRIP), was established by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) in 1965 with its national headquarters at Hyderabad to organize and coordinate multi-location testing of genetic lines and technologies for crop production and protection generated across the country. The Project was elevated to Directorate of Rice Research in 1975 with an added mandate of research in the thrust areas of irrigated rice. The Directorate continues its multi-location All India Coordinated Rice Improvement Programme (AICRIP) with active partnership of 47 funded cooperating centers affiliated to State Agricultural Universities (SAUs), State Department of Agriculture and other Research Institutes of ICAR. Besides, over 50 voluntary centers participate in this multi-location testing program. In 2015, IIRR celebrated its 50th year of useful existence for its significant contribution in overall rice production front which has ensured food security for the country.
- IIRR mainly coordinates multi-location testing at national level to identify appropriate varietal and management technologies for all the rice ecosystems and conducts various strategic and applied research in the major thrust areas of irrigated rice aimed at enhancement of production, productivity and profitability and at preserving. environmental quality. Also, it initiates and coordinates research networks relating to problems of national and regional importance. IIRR serves as major centres for exchange of research material and information.
- The rate of technology transfer at IIRR has been accelerated through the use of ICTs. Recently, IIRR has developed Rice Knowledge Management Portal that serves as an information highway for rice sector in sharing rice knowledge through latest ICT tools. Continuous linkages and partnerships are being developed with national, international and private organizations for collaborative research programme. IIRR also offers various consultancy services and undertakes contractual research.
