Education Qualification: Should Have Passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent from a recognized board of School education/university. Posses a minimum speed of 25 w.p.m in english typewriting or 25 w.p.m in Hindi typewriting.
General Instructions:

- Recent passport size photograph of the candidate affixed in relevant column of the application format.
- Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, and Other Backward Classes certificates should be on parental basis.
- The candidates belonging to OBC of HP Category must produce OBC certificate(s) on the prescribed format, which should not be more than one year old at the time of last date fixed for submission of application form. The validity of the certificate is required to be seen at the time of typing skill test.
- The candidate must fulfil the requirement of passing the academic qualification on or before the submission of application form.
- The applications received without photograph, undertaking/certificate of Head of office & examination fee etc. and incomplete in any respect including unsigned one shall not be entertained and rejected straightway.
- The application format is appended as Annexure-‘A’ with this advertisement and candidates are advised to apply on this format only on A-4 size paper. Candidates can download this format from the Commission website http://www.himachal.nic.in/hpsssb.
- Applications received in any other format except the Annexure-‘A’ will be rejected straightway.
- No interim correspondence will be made and entertained by the Commission with the candidates at any stage till the examination process is over.
- Candidates should also attach one self addressed envelope of 9”X4” (inch) size along with 6/- (Six) postage stamp pasted on it with the application form.
- Class-IV employees of HP Vidhan Shaba, Judicial Services, Boards, Corporations and Autonomous Bodies are not eligible (Except the employees of HIMUDA & HP State Pollution Control Board and they will not be entitled for option of any Govt. department if they are selected).
- The option of the employees of rest of the departments shall not be considered for HIMUDA & HP State Pollution Control Board.
- The original certificates/testimonials will be seen at the time of typing skill test.
- No change in category shall be allowed after last date of receipt of application forms i.e. SC, ST OBC etc. vice- versa.
- Married daughter/grand daughters are not covered under Ward of Freedom Fighters and Ward of Ex-serviceman category.
How to Apply HPSSSC Vacancy: Interested candidates may apply in Prescribed Application form along with all relevent document & self addressed envelope of “9*4” (inch) size along with 6/-(Six) postage stamp send to Secretary, Himachal Pradesh Staff Selection Commission , Hamirpur (Himachal Pradesh) PIN-177001 on or before 15-03-2017.
