General Instruction:
- The candidate should have obtained atleast 45% marks with 5 years of relevant experience for B.E.Civil.
- Age Limit maximum upto 45 years as on 01/06/2019.
- Lumpsum emoluments will be in the range of minimum Rs.30,000/- .
- Concerned candidate should bring with them all original testimonials alongwith one set of Xerox copies (Self attested) with latest passport size photograph and proof of Residential Address at the time of interview.
- Above requirement is purely on contractual base for 11 months only. After completion of same, the contract will automatically be terminated. The candidate cannot claim any permanent right of this contract in future.

- Gujarat State Police Housing Corporation Ltd. was incorporated on 1/11/1988 under Companies Act, 1956. This is a Government Company with 100% share holding subscribed by the State Government.
- The Authorized, Subscribed and Paid-up Share Capital of the Corporation as on 31.3.2012 is Rs. 50.00 Crores, divided into 50 lacs Equity Shares of Rs. 100 each, fully paid-up.
- To undertake construction of residential, non-residential and all others type of buildings required for Gujarat Police, Jails, Home Guards and for other in the state of Gujarat.
- To engage in the business of builders, contractors, engineers, architects, surveyors, estimators and designers in respects of all type of police buildings, office accommodations, residential buildings, administrative offices etc. including maintenance thereof.
- Introducing innovative ideas for buildings and designs.
- To undertake all kinds of construction & allied works as also welfare activities required for the Gujarat Police and others entrusted by the Government from time to time.
- Keeping above in view, process is underway in consonance with the Companies Act, 1956 to change the name of the Corporation as “Gujarat State Police Housing & Welfare Corporation Ltd.”
- With an approved budget of Rs. 82.50 Crores, the new Commissioner of Police office is proposed at the open space in the Police Headquarters at Shahibaug , Ahmedabad. Facing the riverfront, a state of Art office building with all the available modern security systems has been designed by International Architects. With a total built up area of around 28,000 Smts., a ground plus seven storeyed building with basement parking, an iconic office building has been proposed for the Commissioner of Police, Ahmedabad. Three entry points have been provided to approach the office complex, one for the general public, one ceremonial entrance and an entry for logistics. The ground floor and the first floor houses public related functions like passport section, applications section, license section etc., with the concerned supervisory officers of each respective section on the first floor. The administrative section is housed from the second to the seventh floor, with the Commissioner of Police located on the seventh floor. The complex also houses multiple conference facilities, press briefing rooms, library and a state of the art centralized Control room. The project is at the tender stage and the construction work of the same will commence shortly.
