General Instruction:
- Duration of training will be strictly in accordance with Apprentices Act, 1961, Apprenticeship Rules and its amendments from time to time.
- Registration of BE/B-Tech./Diploma candidates on (www.mhrdnats.gov.in) and ITI candidates on Apprenticeship portal (www.apprenticeshipindia.org) is mandatory. Kindly see respective websites for registration. The registration no. is to be uploaded while filling the online application.
- should be noted that the selection and training of apprentices are strictly in compliance with the provisions of Apprentice Act 1961 and its amendments and NO EMPLOYMENT IS GUARANTEED TO THE APPRENTICES ON COMPLETION OF THEIR TRAINING.
- ndidates before filling the application form shall ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility conditions for the apprenticeship training. If at any stage of selection or even after selection and joining or during training, it comes to notice that the candidate/trainee does not fulfill any of the eligibility conditions or the facts stated are not true or the documents enclosed by the applicant are false/forged, the candidature / appointment / joining of such individual shall be withdrawn immediately without assigning any reason.
- he Management reserves the right to amend / refix / cancel / suspend the selection process at any time during the process without assigning any reason whatsoever. The decision of the Management shall be final and binding and no appeal of any kind shall be accepted / entertained / considered in this regard.
- Rquest for settlement of any dispute arising out of application in reference to this advertisement can only be started in Gas Turbine Research Establishment (GTRE), Bengaluru.
- No correspondence shall be entertained from the candidates not selected for training.
- Results will be published on www.drdo.gov.inunder ‘What’s New’ section.
- Candidates would be informed through ‘DRDO website (www.drdo.gov.in) or via email mentioned in their application form regarding any change / amendment / update till the final selection process is completed.
- andidates finally selected will have to produce valid police verification certificate at the time of joining from their place of last residence (for at least past one year) / permanent address.
- The above registration no. is liable to be verified at the time of selection / Document verification.
- For BE/B-Tech/Diploma apprentice trainees, candidates who have passed in the year 2018/2019/2020 are only eligible to apply. Candidates who have passed the qualifying exam earlier than 2018 are not eligible.
- Candidates with higher qualification are not eligible to apply.
- OBC certificate whose validity has expired would not be accepted for granting concession.
- Candidates must have completed ITI from NCVT or SCVT Board.
- Applications of those candidates who have appeared in the qualifying examination but whose results have not been declared / available as on 05.01.2021 will not be considered for training. Provisional Degree Certificates of qualifying exam would however be acceptable during the time of joining, but final degree certificates shall have to be submitted as & when received.
- Those candidates who have completed the qualifying examination as regularcandidates are only eligible to apply.
- Selection of candidates from SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EWS category would be as per Apprenticeship rules.
- PWD candidates are eligible only for the designated trades as per apprenticeship rules.
- Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship training or at present undergoing apprenticeship training under any organization are not eligible to apply.
- Candidates with more than one year work experience are not eligible to apply.
- No TA/DA shall be given to the candidates for interview/ Document verification / joining GTRE.
- The apprentices will not be provided any quarters/hostel accommodation by this establishment at the time of interview and also during the training period.

How to Apply:

- Applications are to be submitted online through the following website/link: rac.gov.in or drdo.gov.in .
- Candidates are requested to fill up correct details against all the fields along with uploading of scanned copies of all the mandatory documents (as per list).
- The marks obtained in the qualifying exam are to be mentioned in percentage. In case of CGPA, candidates are requested to convert the CGPA into percentage as per their university norms and the same may be verified during document verification.
- Candidates are required to bring a signed printout of the application along with the originals of the documents submitted online at the time of joining at GTRE, Bengaluru.
- Online Applications after the last date would not be accepted. Incomplete or partially filled application forms would not be accepted.
About Us:
- Starting in 1982 as a Project under Integrated Guided Missile Development Programme (IGMDP) and a forerunner to proposed National Test Range at Baliapal, ITR has been graduated to perfection over the years and has reached the status of World Class Test Range. Maiden Test launch of re-entry technology demonstrator, Agni AE01 on 22nd May, 1989 from this Test Range has put ITR in a prominent place among the World Test Ranges.
- Since then, various operational versions of Agni have been tested from this Test Range. Precise surface to surface missile Prithvi with a varied range has been fired from this Test Range. Successful test launch of its variants like Air force version and Naval version from gyro-stabilized platform are also the landmarks of this test range success. Successful testing of Indo-Russian Joint venture anti ship cruise missile BrahMos shows the marvel of technological collaboration between both the Nations. Apart from these trials, the Range has also tested a number of tactical weapon systems like Akash, Nag, Trishul, Astra and a number of air to air exercises. Pilotless target aircraft Lakshya, remotely piloted vehicle Nishant, Pinaka rockets and a number of altitude sensing devices are tested successfully from this Test Range. In the year 2003, Interim Test Range was renamed as Integrated Test Range, which signifies its commitment to Integrated Defence Services along with the Projects.
- All the tests are done at ITR, which is 200 Km from two major cities of the country – Kolkata in the north and Bhubaneswar in the south. Strategically located along the coast of Bay of Bengal, it has the advantage of providing a safe corridor for all types of missile systems. The sprawling Chandipur range has spread over a vast area comprising of technical facilities and launch complexes. Apart from this, it has several pockets of land mass along the coast line, where state-of-the-art range instrumentation systems are deployed for effective real time tracking and data capture.
