General Conditions:
- Applications are invited for filling up the posts through Walk-in -Interview, scheduled to be held on 11th January, 2021. Interested candidates are required to fill their application form in the prescribed format and bring the hardcopy of completed application form along with required certificate/documents on the date of the Interview. All interested candidates are required to report in person and submit application form along with prescribed application fee, during the prescribed time on 11th January, 2021.
- The candidates must be a citizen of “India”.
- The candidates have to produce original documents at the time of appearing for interview.
- Incomplete applications/without relevant supporting enclosures/attachments will be out rightly rejected.
- Application other than the prescribed form will not be entertained.
- The University reserves the right to fill up the post, not to fill up the post, increase/reduce number of post(s) or cancel the advertisement in whole or part without assigning any reason. The University will also reserve the right to place reasonable limit on the total number of candidates to be called for interviewed.
- No correspondence whatsoever will be entertained from the candidates regarding the conduct and result of written test/interview and the reasons for not being called for the interview.
- Application fee is Rs. 200/- payable by Demand Draft, in favour of Registrar, Himachal Pradesh National Law University, Shimla.
- Applicants reporting and submitting application form beyond prescribed time shall not be considered.
- No TA/DA shall be admissible.
- Candidates must appear Walk-In-Interview on 11-01-2021 (9 AM) after meeting the required eligbility and relevant experience. Make sure to come this Walk-In-Interview along with application in the prescribed format along with attested photocopies of the documents etc to the given venue.
- Without documents and relevant certificates, candidate will not eligible to appear for the Walk-In-Interview.

- The Himachal Pradesh National Law University (HPNLU, Shimla), was established by the State Government in the year 2016, by an Act of the Legislature (Act 16 of 2016). The University started functioning from 5th of October, 2016. The first batch of B.A.LL.B. students was inducted on the basis merit/score secured by them in different national level entrance tests. The University started its own Entrance Exam: HPNLET, in 2017-2018 and continued for academic session of 2018-2019 for admissions in various courses i. e. B.A.LL.B.; B.B.A. LL.B.; and LL.M. (One-Year Programme with two specializationsviz- Constitutional Law and Criminal Law) and Ph.D.Programmes.
- The University has decided to join CLAT Consortium from the Academic Session 2019-2020. Presently, the University functions from the campus of Himachal Pradesh Judicial Academy.
- Located in the geographical terrains of Himalayas,HPNLU, Shimla, is the best place for study and learning in law, developing in students, understanding about law and legal system, topographies of law making, legal practice, and administration.
