Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS), an autonomous organization of the Ministry of Railways, is the IT wing of the Indian Railways. CRIS possesses state-of-the-art infrastructure at its Headquarters in New Delhi, and its Regional offices at New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Secunderabad, and Kolkata. CRIS is engaged in the development, implementation and maintenance of many major IT applications of the Indian Railways, including the well-known Passenger Reservation System (PRS), Next Generation E-Ticketing System (NGeT), Unreserved Ticketing System (UTS), Freight Operations Information System (FOIS), e-Procurement System (EPS), Track Management System (TMS), Crew Management System (CMS), Control Office Application (COA) etc.
Employment Notification 2 Implementer vacancy in CRIS
The Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS, designs, develops, implements and maintains most of the important information systems of Indian Railways. It is located in Chanakyapuri, New Delhi. CRIS was established in 1986 by the Ministry of Railways of India. We provide to the Railways robust systems in the areas of OLTP, Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing, E-commerce, Embedded systems, and Mobile applications. We manage Indian Railways’ IT Infrastructure to pre-defined SLAs and service practices on a number of technology platforms, such as HP-UX, AIX, Linux, Open VMS, and Microsoft Windows, developing software in Java, C, C++, C#, etc. We use both J2EE and .NET frameworks, and work in a range of middle ware suites such as WAS, Weblogic, JBoss, Tuxedo, and HP-RTR.
CRIS require services of two Railway employees for the post of Implementer in CMS((Integration through TIBCO, Crew Link generation, and Archiving with associated up gradation) project, on usual terms of deputation.

Eligibility criteria:
Staff working as traffic Inspector/Loco Inspector/Loco Pilots in PB 2 Rs.9300-34800 GP Rs.4600 or 4200, Guards PB 2 Rs.9300-34800 GP 4200 Sr. ALP PB 1 Rs.5200-20200 GP 2400, with exposure of working in CMS and divisional control office are eligible to apply. Computer knowledge desirable.
Note:
The vacancies are required to be filled urgently. Hence, it may be given wide publicity. The applications of willing staff may be forwarded along with  D & AR Vigilance clearance and APARs for last three years, to the undersigned at the earliest. The employee will draw parent pay which would have been admissible to him/her from time to time on the Railways plus deputation(duty) allowance.
