General Information:

- OCPL reserves the right to raise the minimum eligibility standards. The Management reserves the right to fill up or not to fill up any of the above positions without assigning any reason whatsoever. OCPL also reserves the right to cancel/restrict/modify/alter the recruitment process and also reserves the right to increase/decrease the post advertised, if need arises without issuing any further notice or assigning any reason whatsoever.

- Any dispute with regard to the said recruitment will be settled within the jurisdiction of Bhubaneswar only.

Candidates should click on the online application link, read the instructions carefully and fill-in the online application form giving accurate information. If the online application is not successfully completed, candidate is required to register again. Applications received through any other mode would not be accepted and summarily rejected.
- No request with respect to change in any data entered by the candidate will be entertained once the online application is submitted successfully. While applying online, candidate needs to upload the scanned copy of their recent passport size colour photograph & signature. In case the candidate is called for personal interview, he/she will be required to produce his/her original certificate and other relevant documents as mentioned in the on-line application form.

About Us:
- Odisha Coal and Power Limited (OCPL) is a coal mining company owned by Government of Odisha.[1] It was incorporated under the Companies Act 2013 on 20 January 2016. It has been allocated with two coal blocks in the state of Odisha by the Ministry of Coal, Government of India namely Manoharpur and Dipside of Manoharpur coal blocks in Sundergarh District of Odisha.
- OCPL is a Joint venture company of Odisha Power Generation Corporation Limited and Odisha Hydro Power Corporation Limited, with 51% and 49% partnership respectively.
- The OCPL has been allotted two coal blocks namely Manoharpur and Diopside of Manoharpur coal mines. The Manoharpur coal mine operation has commenced and the coal production from this mine has started in October-2019. OCPL has engaged M/s BGR Mining Ltd. as the Mine Operator for the Manoharpur coal mine project. During financial 2019–20, around 1.05 million tonnes of coal have been produced. Further OCPL has engaged M/s McNally Bharat Engineering Co. Ltd. as its contractor for the construction of a Coal Handling Plant (CHP) of 4,000 TPH capacity at the pit head of the Manoharpur coal mine. The construction of the CHP is in progress.
