10th or SSC or equivalent with ITI and related sports certificate.

General Conditions:
- Candidate will be subjected for their fitness in the relevant medical classification during the medical examination by Railway Medical Authorities prior to his/her appointment in the allotted post after due selection.
- Candidates belonging to SC/ST communities will be given free travelling authority in second class when called for trials
- No TA/DA, Accommodation will be provided while appearing the selections/trials/ interviews. Candidates should come prepared to stay at the place of trials for 2-3 days at their own cost. They have to bring their own sports kiUequipmentforthe trails.
- Non-fulfillment of any of the criteria mentioned in the Advertisement will make the application liable for rejection at any stage.
- Selected candidates are liable to be posted anywhere on South Central Railway.
- The decision of Railway Administration in connection with the selection is final. For non-selection of the candidates no correspondence will be entertained. The Railway Administration will not be responsible for any postal delay or wrong delivery.
- Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidate.
- Applications which suffer from the defects such as unsigned, incomplete, illegible, applications without enclosures, without prescribed fee, applications not in the prescribed format, without attested copies of certificates/testimonials and the application which in the opinion of Railway Administration are otherwise invalid, willbe rejected at any stage. The above instances are only illustrative and not exhaustive.
- In Archery, the sports achieveme nts in the events conducted by Archery Association of India or their affiliated units will not be considered for recruitment (only for At least 3rd Position in All India Inter University Championship organized under the aegis of Association of Indian Universities will be considered).
- In Athletics, Medal winning performance in National Inter State Senior Athletics Championships, may also be considered for recruitment against the posts having the ( Grade Pay ?1 ,900 in Pay Band ?5,200-20,200.
- In Basketball; Participation and medal winning performance in the events organized by the Basketball Federation of India, after 26.07.2017 shall only be considered for recruitment.
- In Boxing, the sports achievements in the events conducted by Indian Amateur Boxing Federation or their affiliated units are not recognized for the purpose of recruitment in Railways. The achievements of players in “Youth” category in international Championship will be considered in place of”Junior” category.
How To Apply:

- Application form should be filled by the candidate in his/her own handwriting in either English or in Hindi.
- Application should be made of a good quality A-4 size paper using one side only.
Newspaper cutting should not be used as an Application. - A recent passport size colour photograph should be pasted in the space provided on the application attested by him/her i.e. partially on photograph and partially on the application.
- The candidate should also attach two recent passport size colour photographs (same as the one affixed on the application form) and the other should be clipped along with the application form.
- The candidate should also submit two self addressed unstamped envelopes (size 23
ems x 10 ems.) along with his/her application. - Serving employees should apply through proper channel duly forwarded by their controlling officials. The last date will not be extended on account of delay in transmission of the application by the concerned office.

In the arena of information dissemination to the rail customers, it has provided Inter-active Voice Response System (IVRS) for Reservation and train enquiry, National Train Enquiry System (NTES) for real time information on movement of trains, Passenger Operated Enquiry Terminals (POET) with information on availability of accommodation and confirmation and Close Circuit Television (CCTV) for real time reservation availability status at all important stations in its system.
- For mass movement of freight, S.C.Railway has introduced high horse powered Diesel and Electric Locomotives and high speed, higher Axle load Box-N-Wagons.
