General Information:
- MSRLM-143/HR/Recruitment/2018-19, Pt- III: It is hereby notified for information to all concerned that advertisement for recruitment of the following posts of the MSRLM Society on purely contractual basis has been issued.
- The details of requisite qualification of posts, indicative job profile and monthly remuneration are available at wvvw.manipursrlm.gov.in and www.manipur.gov.in as Annexure. Interested candidates may download the MSRLM APPLICATION & RESUME FORM along with the Checklist and to be filled in Admit card available at www.manipursrlm.gov.in and www.manirur.gov,in , fill the same strictly as per the format and submit it to recruit2020.msrlm©gmail.com indicating the name of the post applied for in the subject line and on or before 17.00 hrs of 5th December, 2020. A candidate can apply for only one post.
- The Manipur State Rural Livelihoods Mission (MSRLM), an autonomous society of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj Department, Government of Manipur, is the designated State Nodal Agency for planning ,implementation and monitoring and evaluation of all manner of interventions promoting rural livelihoods in the state including implementation of Deco Dayal Antyodaya Yojna – National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY — NRLM)/Aajeevika, Deen Dayal Updadhya Grameen Kaushalya Yolana (DDUGKY) and other sub schemes under DAY NRLM. The Society intends to recruit willing, competent and committed professionals for the following posts for its State Mission Management Unit (SMMU), District Mission Management Unit (DMMU) and Block Mission Management Units (BMMU) on a purely contractual basis for stipulated time period based on the performance of the concern and extension of the interventions and be willing to work in the rural areas including remote rural areas of the state primarily with rural poor women under Day NRLM framework. The service conditions will be as per the norm of the Society.
- The post of SMMs, DMMs, MEs, DCs, BMMs and CCs involve extensive travelling and field stay and only candidates willing to undertake such travels/ stay should apply.
- Number of vacancy may increase as per requirement during the process of recruitment.
- Interested candidates may download the application cum resume format from manipursrlm.zovin and rnanipur.gov.in and fill- in strictly as per the format and submit it on or before 17.00 hrs. of 5th of December, 2020.
- Incomplete applications will be summarily rejected.
- A candidate can apply only one position.
- A Filled in admit card with passport size photograph pasted on it,is to be submitted along with the application form.
- Selection will be done on fair competitive basis and subject to decision of the board which will be final.
- Eligible candidates may apply for concerned posts by sending their application to concerned email address, as per prescribed format. No need to send print to Manipur State Rural Livelihoods Mission at this stage. Keeping a print copy for future use is advised though. - MSRLM was established by the Rural Development & Panchayati Raj Department, Government of Manipur to implement NRLM in the State. It is registered under section 7(1) of Societies Registration Act 1989 (Manipur Act No. 1 of 1990) with registration no. 606/M/SR/2014 dated 27th January 2014.
- To be a specialized agency for the empowerment and poverty reduction by focusing on livelihoods of the poor and vulnerable.
- To act as an agency to bring convergence between all poverty reduction and empowerment programmes.
- To reduce poverty by enabling the poor households to access gainful self- employment and skilled wage employment opportunities resulting in appreciable improvement in their livelihoods on a sustainable basis, through building strong grassroots institutions of the poor.
- Alleviate poverty of poor men and women by improving their capacities and opportunities to participate in and control their own development;
- To make necessary interventions to empower active and affinity-based groups of disadvantaged people;
- To make necessary interventions to create income security opportunity for the rural poor;
- Through village institutions, collaborate and influence Panchayat Raj Institutions to become more effective, accountable and inclusive; and
- Bring about coordination, convergence and synergy among the various components of different poverty alleviation programmes of the State and Central governments with a view to accelerating programmes towards elimination of poverty in the State.
- National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM) is a poverty alleviation project implemented by Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India. This scheme is focused on promoting self-employment and organization of rural poor. The basic idea behind this programme is to organize the poor into SHG (Self Help Groups) groups and make them capable for self-employment. In 1999 after restructuring Integrated Rural Development Programme(IRDP), Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD) launched Swarnajayanti Grameen Swarojgar Yojana (SGSY) to focus on promoting self-employment among rural poor. SGSY is now remodeled to form NRLM thereby plugging the shortfalls of SGSY programme.This scheme was launched in 2011 with a budget of $5.1 billion and is one of the flagship programmes of Ministry of Rural Development. This is one of the world’s largest initiatives to improve the livelihood of poor. This programme is supported by the World Bank with a credit of $1 Billion.The scheme was succeeded by Deen Dayal Antyodaya Yojana on 25 September 2015.
- The basic idea behind this scheme was to form SHG groups and help them to start some entrepreneurial activities but later SHG group failed.
