General Information:
- Application in prescribed form are invited for various faculty and Senior Resident positions in the Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences & Research and its associated HAH Centenary Hospital. Eligible candidates may apply by sending applications on email id: hr@himsr.co.in on or before 12th January 2021 at 4 PM.
- The Institute reserves the right not to fill-up the vacancies if the circumstances so warrant and to call only short-listed candidates for test/ interview.
- Candidates called for interview will have to come to the place of interview at their own expenses and bring with them their original research papers, degree, experience and Medical Registration certificates etc. for verification.
- The Application Form duly typed and complete in all respects should be sent on email id: hr@himsr.co.in latest by 12th January 2021 at 4 PM alongwith following:
- Bio-data (highlighting personal details, academic records, teaching and research experience) in prescribed form.
- Self-attested copies of certificates & testimonials in support of qualification and experience.
- Two reference letters from distinguished Professors who may have been either reporting or reviewing officer of the applicant (Only for faculty positions).
- Incomplete applications and those received after the closing date will not be entertained.
- Salary will be consolidated and negotiated at the time of selection.
- Applicants can download , fill and submit applicant form online (Annexure A & Annexure B) along with passport size photograph and digital signature on mail id hr@himsr.co.in latest by 12th January 2021 ,
- Application forms will be received to concerned email by : 12-01-2021 .
- Received applications will be scrutinized and suitable candidates will be called for further proceedings (Interviews etc.).
- Eligible candidates may apply for concerned posts by sending their application to concerned email address, as per prescribed format. No need to send print to Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences and Research and Associated Hah Centenary Hospital at this stage. Keeping a print copy for future use is advised though. - Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences & Research (HIMSR) in New Delhi is aimed at furthering its scope in life sciences and health domains while providing quality healthcare at an affordable cost supported by 470 Bedded Hakeem Abdul Hameed Centenary Hospital. HIMSR has been established as an institution of national importance with the objects to develop patterns of teaching in Undergraduate and Post-graduate Medical Education in all its branches so as to demonstrate a high standard of Medical Education in India; to bring together in one place educational facilities of the highest order for the training of personnel in all important branches of health activity; and to attain self-sufficiency in Post-graduate Medical Education.
- Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences & Research is a great leap forward in line with the vision of the founders of Jamia Hamdard and in fulfilling the dream of Hakeem Abdul Hameed to create an institute for suffering humanity. It shall establish the philosophy of Hamdard “Compassion, Concern, Care and sharing in pain.”
- It is situated at Hamdard Nagar, New Delhi and is a constituent faculty of Jamia Hamdard aimed at furthering its scope in the life sciences and health domains and providing quality healthcare at an affordable cost. HIMSR has been established as an institution of national importance with the objective to develop patterns of teaching in Undergraduate and Post-graduate Medical Education in all its branches so as to demonstrate a high standard of Medical Education in India; to bring together in one place educational facilities of the highest order for the training of personnel in all important branches of health activity; and to attain self-sufficiency in Post-graduate Medical Education. Recently, it has been ranked 11th by the NIRF in the Medical category.
- Planned as a new centre of excellence in medical education, HIMSR offer courses at Undergraduate, Postgraduate and post-doctoral levels in medical and allied subjects. Undergraduate course started with its first batch of 100 MBBS students inducted in July 2012 and passed out in 2017. Last year Postgraduation course also commenced in few of the departments. The institute is supported by 470 bedded teaching hospital, namely, Hakeem Abdul Hameed Centenary Hospital which has two blocks- Block A and B, mainly to deliver tertiary level medical care to the patients at an affordable cost.
- Jamia Hamdard was conceived as a seat of higher learning in Unani Medicine, Islamic Studies, Biosciences, Pharmacy, Nursing and other areas of knowledge by its founder as a means of fulfilling the object of the wakf. Over the past two decades Jamia Hamdard has emerged as outstanding institution of higher learning with distinct and focused academic programs. The university offers a number of postgraduate and doctoral programs in several disciplines in realm of life sciences and health sciences.
