General Instructions:
- Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply. Candidates who are Indian Nationals but presently residing outside India must submit valid proof of their being an Indian Citizen – such as copy of valid Indian Passport.
- Experience will be counted from the date of successful defense of their Ph.D dissertation / thesis. It is mandatory for candidates possessing Ph.D qualification to mention the date of successful defense of Ph.D in their application. In respect of the post in the research area of Industrial Biotechnology in Grade ‘E’, experience will be counted from the date of successful completion of their Induction level qualification i.e. PhD degree.
- The age, qualification marks & experience (in case of Grade E, Industrial Biotechnology post) for the above post(s) shall be reckoned as on 31.03.2019.
- The percentage of marks should be calculated as per norms adopted by the respective University / Institute / Board.
- Persons with Benchmarked Disability (PwBD) can apply against any post, subject to a maximum of two and meeting other eligibility criteria as per the advertisement.
- Wherever CGPA/OGPA/DGPA or letter grade in a degree is awarded, its equivalent percentage of marks must be indicated in the application as per norm adopted by the University / Institute / Board. A copy of such formula issued by the University / Institute / Board is mandatory and must be uploaded ONLINE.
- Candidates who have submitted their PhD thesis and are awaiting defense of PhD thesis as on 31.03.2019 will not be considered eligible.
- Date of completion of PhD will be reckoned as Date of successful defense of PhD.
- Candidates presently employed in Govt. Deptt / PSUs / Autonomous Bodies will be required to submit NOC from their current employer at the time of interview and a clear release order from the employer at the time of joining in the event of their selection.
- Candidates must have an active Email id and mobile number, which must remain active till the completion of the recruitment process. All communications with the candidates will take place primarily through Email only and hence, they are advised to ensure that they fill-in the accurate/correct email id and mobile number while registering their ONLINE application. IndianOil will not be responsible for any loss/non-delivery of email/any other communication sent to the candidates due to invalid /wrong email id or mobile number.
- Candidates will be informed about upload of call letter for Personal Interview through e-mail. However,

recruitment process. - Shortlisted candidates will be required to download & take a print out of call letter for Interview sent to their eMail ID and carry the same with them along with the original valid photo ID proof for verification at the time of Interview.
- Candidates are advised to provide the desired details truthfully while filling-up their ONLINE application. Candidates submitting false/incorrect information or otherwise not found to be meeting the prescribed eligibility criteria shall be rejected at any stage of selection process.

- lndianOil’s core business has been refining, transportation and marketing of petroleum products. In line with India’s growing energy demand, the Company has over the years expanded its operations across the hydrocarbon value chain – upstream into oil & gas exploration & production and downstream into petrochemicals, besides diversifying into natural gas and alternative energy resources .

- lndianOil processed 16 new grades of crude oil during 2017- 18, of which 11 were of US origin, in a continuing bid to expand and diversify its sources for imports. Processing of cheaper, heavy & high-TAN as well as high-sulphur grades of crude oil was stepped up for better refining margins.
