General Information:
- All the posts advertised here in this notification are purely temporary with consolidated pay with a break of (01) one working day for every 89 days and a break of (02) two months at the end of the academic year 2020-21 as per university norms. Also, the services of the selected candidates may be terminated at any point of time without assigning any reason thereof.
- The final appointments are subjected to the statutes, service conditions, rules and regulations of the university that are in force and that may be amended from time to time.
- Applicants are required to submit online application through the Institute website (www.ruk.ac.in). Enclosures, if any, in support of application are to be uploaded as separate documents (pdf), along with the application form.
- Candidates are advised to satisfy themselves that they possess at least the minimum essential qualifications (as per AICTE norms) laid down for the post and are eligible to apply before filling up the online application form. However, the conditions prescribed cannot be relaxed.
- Applicants should go through the advertisement thoroughly and fill all the required information in online application.
- Last date for submission of online application is 25-04-2021.
- A non-refundable online application/processing fee of Rs.1000/- for OC and BC and Rs.500 for SC / ST / PH categories is to be paid before filling the online application.
- If a candidate had been in employment, he/she should either give his/her present or most recent address of the employer or immediate supervisor as reference.
- The date, time and venue of Screening Test, Seminar and interview will be informed only through the Institute website / registered e-mail of the applicant.
- The invitation sent to the candidate for Screening Test, Seminar and interview merely indicates the suitability for the post and conveys no assurance whatsoever that he/she will be recommended or selected, or his/her conditions specified in the application will be accepted.
- If the authorities decide to interview the candidate, he / she should arrange to be present at the venue fixed on the date and time specified at his / her own expenses. No TA/DA is admissible in this regard.
- All certificates in original must be produced only at the time of interview for verification and also at the time of joining, if selected. If any candidate fails to produce any of the original certificates at the time of the interview, his/her candidature will be disqualified.
- No correspondence by any means will be entertained from candidates regarding conduct & result of interview, reasons for not being called for interview.
- Any dispute regarding the selection / recruitment process will be subjected to courts / tribunals having jurisdiction limited to Kurnool.
- Every successful candidate will be informed the result of his/her application in due course after approval by the competent authority and any interim enquiries about the result will therefore not be answered.
- The selected candidates will be required to join duty within one week from the date of issue of orders, unless otherwise instructed in the order of appointment, failing which the appointment of the candidates will be treated as cancelled.
- After joining the service of the University, the candidate will have to abide by the Rules, Regulations and Ordinances of the University applicable from time to time. He / she may be assigned any duty within the University or outside depending upon the exigency of the work.
- In case of any inadvertent mistake/error in the process of selection, which may be detected at any stage even after issue of the appointment order, the University reserves the right to modify / withdraw / cancel any communication made to the candidate.
- The applicant is responsible for the correctness of the information provided in the application. If it is found later that any information given in the application is incorrect / false, the candidature / appointment liable to be cancelled / terminated.
- A candidate who is found to have knowingly furnished any particulars which are false or suppressed material information or found involved in unlawful activities will be disqualified and if appointed, will be liable for termination at any point of time without any notice.
- The University can verify the antecedents or documents submitted by the candidate at any time during tenure of service. In case, it is detected that the documents submitted by the candidates are fake or the candidate has a clandestine antecedents / background for which he/she has been convicted by any court-oflaw and has suppressed the said information, then his/her services shall be terminated forthwith.
- If at any later stage after appointment, it is found that a candidate was convicted by a Court of Law for his/her involvement in illegal activities, such appointment shall be cancelled automatically without any notice.

- Rayalaseema University is a state university located in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, India.
- Rayalaseema University came into existence, fulfilling the long-cherished dream of people of Kurnool district in the year 2008, by Act No. 29 of 2008 enacted by the Legislature of the State of Andhra Pradesh and published in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette on 24 September 2008. The Establishment of Rayalaseema University is part of the vision of Government of Andhra Pradesh to promote access, equity, and inclusiveness in Higher Education.
- The Postgraduate Center at Kurnool was started by Sri Venkateswara University in 1977 with a view to imparting higher education especially to the rural youth of the backward District of Kurnool in the drought-prone region of Rayalaseema. The University established the Postgraduate Center with two courses, one in Economics with specialization in Area Planning and Regional Development, the other in Operations Research and Statistical Quality Control to cater to the needs of the industry. The centre was housed in a small building to start with and later, in 1979, was shifted to the old municipal office buildings. Two more courses, in Physics and Chemistry, were added in 1979. State Bank of India offered a chair for the post of Professor in Fine Arts in memory of Sri Damodaram Sanjeevaiah in 1983 for undertaking research which was later converted and established as Department of Telugu in 1985. The center was shifted to University-owned building at B.Tandrapadu, a small village near Kurnool, in 1990.
- In 1993 the affiliation of the centre was transferred to Sri Krishnadevaraya University. MSc Computer Science started in 1998 and later Management,MCA and Mathematics were started in the year 2001 and courses in Botany, Organic Chemistry, and Zoology were started in the year 2006. With the establishment of Rayalaseema University, MA in English and MEd courses were started in the academic year 2008–09; and MSc in Biotechnology in the academic year 2009–10. MCom and MSc in Electronics and Communications were started in 2012–13.
- The department started with MSc Computer Science in 1998 and later MCA in the year 2001. The center has excellent computer laboratory and library with huge number of books. Many students from Computer Science and Applications departments got jobs in Major IT companies and MNC’s. More than 100+ students from M.Sc (CS) and M.C.A are working abroad.
- Rayalaseema University has also started Engineering College from the academic year 2019–2020. This is the first and only Govt Engineering College in Kurnool district.
- Situated in rural environs in a campus of over 300+ acres of land, the university includes a Computer Centre, a Health Center, a gymnasium, an outdoor stadium, an auditorium and space to accommodate departments of studies, laboratories, hostels, and housing for the staff.
