Educational Qualification:
- For Medical Officer: BAMS or PG Degree in Ayurveda and registration with Central /State Medical Council of India.
- For Professor: PG Degree in Ayurveda in concern subject included in the Schedule II of the IMCC Act, 1970 and Registered with Central/ State council of Indian Medicine and relevant teaching experience.

The selection will be made through Walk-in-interview/ test scheduled to be held at Office of the Director, NEIAH, Mawdiangdiang, Shillong Meghalaya-793018 (Near NEIGRIHMS Police Out Post) from 10:00 AM. Interested candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria should report for interview/ test by 9:30 AM on 11.04.2017. Candidates should bring two passport size photographs and original certificates along with photocopy of the same duly self-attested in support of their Age, Qualifications, Registration & Experien-ces etc. Reservation of post and relaxation of age is applicable as per Govt. of India rule. In case no candidate is found suitable for appointment in the higher post in teaching, the post will be filled up by respective lower level post. Retired person frOm Central Govt. / State Govt. I Govt. Autonomous Organization may apply. The compensation for the selected candidates will be in tune with the other National institutes, However, the consolidated remuneration will be commensurate to their position, for the retired person.
