General Instruction:
- Applications as per given format should be accompanied by self attested copies of (I) Permanent Registration Certificate from Delhi Medical Council (For MBBS) (II) Internship Completion Certificate (III) one passport size photograph (IV) EWS Certificate & Caste Certificate issued by the Tehsildar or above rank officer of Govt. of India or PWD (One Leg Ortho) Certificate from government hospital (if any).
- Undertaking must be signed by the candidate.
- Incomplete or unsigned and without self attested application will be rejected and no communication will be entertained in this regard.
- Seats are reserved for EWS, SC, ST, OBC & PWD (Ortho) as per Central Govt. job/ DOPT instruction.
- DMC (Original/Receipt) Registration Certificate is mandatory and will be submitted with application form or at the time of counselling. No candidate will be allowed to attend the counselling, if he/she will not submit DMC.
- For EWS candidates please attach certificate should be issued by
Tehsildar or above rank officer of State Govt/Central Govt. of India. - For OBC Candidates please attach certificate from appropriate authority, which is meant for the post under the Central Government of India, and Certified that the Candidate does not belong to Creamy Layer. Date of issue of Certificate should be after 01.04.2019 in annexure 10.
- For SC, ST – certificate should be issued by Tehsildar or above rank officer in format of State Govt/Central Govt. of India.
- Those who have already done one year (Non-PG) Junior Residency in any Govt.Hospital will not be considered and need not apply.
- Only applications in response to this advertisement and OBC Certificate in prescribed Performa as per given format will be considered and the name of suitable candidate as per criteria given above will be displayed on the website www.vmmcsjh.nic.in
- Application fees of Rs. 500/- for general candidates and Rs. 250/- for EWS or OBC candidates & no fees required for SC/ST/PWD candidates. Application fees to be paid through NEFT & RTGS or online transferred. Application fee once remitted shall not be refunded under any circumstances.
- Candidates must be attached Payment Receipt (UTR no.) with the application, if any candidate didn’t attached the payment receipt with application format his/her application will be rejected and no communication will be entertained in this regard.
- Application should be submitted in DIARY & DISPATCH SECTION of this institution (near Gate no. 2 and near Bank of Baroda Safdarjung Hospital Branch). - Vardhman Mahavir Medical College (VMMC) is a medical college in New Delhi. It is attached with the famous Safdarjang Hospital for clinical teaching.[1] The college runs under the umbrella of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.
- Vardhman Mahavir Medical College was established at Safdarjung Hospital (one of the largest hospitals in India, started during the Second World War) in November 2001.
- The first batch of MBBS students joined the college in February 2002. More than ten batches have joined since. The college has recognition by the Medical Council of India. It is included in the World Directory of Medical Schools and the Avicenna Directory of Medicine.
- The college is affiliated to Guru Govind Singh I P University, Delhi. From 2008 onwards the postgraduate courses have been affiliated to GGSIPU which were with Delhi University.
- Although the college began on a very modest note on infrastructure carved out of the portions of the Safdarjang Hospital. The college has a separate library building with an excellent collection of medical books and journals, and Internet facility. The college has a faculty in the pre-clinical, para-clinical and clinical disciplines.
- Nirvana is the official annual literary, socio-cultural and sports festival of Vardhaman Mahavir Medical College and Safdarjang Hospital, New Delhi.[7] It first started in 2004. Celebrities like the band Indian Ocean and Toshi have performed for a crowd that consisted of medical students from across the country as well as non-medical students and invitees from colleges affiliated to the Delhi University, Jawaharlal Nehru University and others, i.e., over 300 institutes.
