General Information:
- Deputy Director Health Services, Nashik Circle, Nashik invites applications from eligible candidates for filling up the following posts on contractual basis under National Urban Health Mission in Muncipal Corporation of the Nashik mentioned in advertisement
- Number of posts & reservation may change.
- These posts are purely contractual and not State Government’s regular posts.
- Remuneration is a consolidated pay.
- Short listed candidates will be eligible for interview.
- Appointment of selected candidate will be for the period of 11 months or less as per approved PIP likely to be extended, if performance is satisfactory & only if project is extended. If performance is not satisfactory, contract will not be renewed & can be terminated at any time without prior notice. If the project is not extended; candidate cannot claim any right on the post or permanency of job or job protection by Government or any litigation regarding the employment protection.
- Age criteria will be relaxed by 5 years for existing NHM employee.
- For MBBS Qualification candidates, service under NHM is considered for bond issued by Director Medical Education / Dean GMC.
- Higher experience and qualification will be preferred_ Experience will be relaxed if sufficient candidates are not available.
- Age criteria: for MBBS & Specialist 70 year, Nurses & Technicians 65 years, and for other staff Open category is 38 years & for reserved categories is 43 years.
- All required qualifications must be full time course from Government recognized university.

- The fees for application form is Rs.100/- for reserved category and Rs.150/- for candidate in Open category. The fee has to be paid through Demand Draft of Nationalised bank / Private Bank drawn in favour of “DDHS NASHIK”.
- Individual application for each post is mandatory. Application should be submitted in given format only.
- The incomplete application and application on plain paper will not be considered.
- The selection committee reserves all the rights to modify or change all the above mentioned criteria without any prior intimation.

- 122 Councilors who are elected representatives of 61 wards of the city. 5 persons nominated by the councilors. The councilors are elected every 5 years and the meeting of the councilors is held once in a month. Mayor, the first citizen of the city, is elected by the councilors and holds office for a period of two and a half years. The Mayor presides over the General Body Meetings of the councilors.
- This committee, specified under The MMC Act is the most important committee of the corporation. The councilors at their first meeting elect the Standing Committee, consisting of 16 councillors, after the general election. The Standing Committee/General Board essentially governs the functioning of the Corporation on behalf of the 122 councillors. It is the policy making body of the Corporation and makes all decisions with respect to the establishment and finances of the Corporation as per the various provisions of the MMC Act 1949.
- The ward committee consists of councillors representing the electoral wards within the territorial area of the ward committee. There are 6 ward committee’s namely Nashik (E), Nashik (W), Nashik Road, Panchavati, CIDCO and Satpur. The main function of the committees is to approve the cost of works for the wards, incorporate the expenses in the budget etc.. The ward committee can sanction projects upto Rs. 5 facs and projects above Rs. 5 lacs are approved by the general board.
