- The Candidates are required to provide documentary proof in support of all the statements/claims (qualification, age, experience, caste etc.) made by them in their Application Forms, failing which their application will be rejected at the threshold.
- The Candidates, who want to apply for more than one position, have to send separate application and application fee for each post.
- The Candidates who are employed need to submit No Objection and Experience Certificate from the employer clearly indicating the nature of post(s) held, duration, and salary drawn with pay scale. However in case of any difficulty at the time of appliclation, the same should be sumitted before joining, if slected.
- The University is a residential University and the candidates appointed against this notification may be required to reside in the University Campus in Nava Raipur, Atal Nagar.
- Medium of instruction for teaching in HNLU is English and hence candidates applying for the positions must be fluent in English and able to teach in English.
- The reserved category posts of OBC/SC/ST are meant for Chhattisgarh Domicile candidates only. The SC/ST candidates who belong to other States of the country shall be treated as Unreserved Candidates as per Chhattisgarh Government Reservation Rules and need to pay the fee prescribed for unreserved candidates.
- The University reserves the right to disqualify any candidate who attempts to lobby or canvas to influence the selection process.
- The University shall verify the antecedents or documents submitted by a candidate at any time of appointment or during the tenure of the service. In case, it is detected that the documents submitted by the candidates are fake or the candidate has undesirable/clandestine antecedents and has supressed the said information, then her/his service shall be terminated.

- Hidayatullah National Law University (HNLU) is a public law school and a National Law University in New Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India. The University is named after the former Chief Justice of India, Justice Mohammad Hidayatullah. It is one of the autonomous law schools in India and being sixth in the series of such national law schools. It was established as a centre for legal excellence by the Government of Chhattisgarh under the Hidayatullah National University of Law, Chhattisgarh, Act (Act No.10 of 2003). The university offers a B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) integrated Programme, an L.L.M. Programme, and PhD Course.
- It is a residential university and is affiliated to and receives central assistance from the University Grants Commission and is recognised by the Bar Council of India.
- Previously, the university ran from a classical heritage building adjacent to the Raj Bhawan in the heart of the city.In 2009, the university shifted to its newly constructed campus at Uparwara, Naya Raipur, about 22 km from the center of Raipur city.
- The new campus is built over 65 acres (26 ha) of land located beside a lake and in a serene and pollution free environment. The circular academic and administrative building has been built on the design of the Parliament of India. The academic block consists of a three-storied library with an air conditioned reading hall and an air-conditioned computer lab equipped with 200 computers. The academic block also houses the Moot Court Halls designed to match the standards of the Supreme Court of India and the High Courts. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled. There are 21 air-conditioned classrooms fitted with modern teaching aids and equipment.
- The air-conditioned classrooms are fitted with teaching aids such as DLP projectors and no single interactive boards. It also has a conference hall and an amphitheatre. The halls of residence at the new campus have been constructed to provide single room accommodation to each student. However, the later construction of the new hostels for both girls and boys are double occupancy.
- HNLU provides separate hostels for girls and boys. Each hostel has two blocks which are connected to the mess. There are over 400 single occupancy rooms and under construction 216 double occupancy rooms. The hostels are equipped with separate mess and gymnasium facilities with a resident doctor.
