General Instruction:
- Only online application submitted before the closing date (31.12.2020 05:30 PM) will be accepted. Application form sent in any other mode will be rejected.
- Incomplete applications and applications submitted without application fees will be summarily rejected. Application will be treated as incomplete/rejected unless accompanied by Payment of Application Fee.
- It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure that all the details are correct and successfully submitted online along with the payment of requisite Application Fees before the closing date. Applicant must ensure that the Application Status is “Submitted Successfully”. NIELIT will not be responsible for any of the unforeseen circumstances.
- The fee will be collected through online payment mode via application software only. Any processing charges towards the same plus service tax, if any, will have to be borne by the Applicant. Fee through any other mode like Demand draft, Pay Order, Cheque or Challan will not be accepted.
- Application fee once paid is non-refundable. Applicants, in their own interest, should check their eligibility for the post they are applying before remitting the application fee.
- The candidate can apply for both the posts but only one stream (CS/IT/Electronics) per post of his/her Choice. Failure to do so may lead to rejection/cancellation of the Applications.
- Relaxation of age based on Category as per GoI Rules will be available to applicants only if vacancy exists in the Category for the Post and Stream.
- Documents required for Online Registration and Application Filling: a. Scanned copy of Photograph (JPEG/ JPG) along with Signature: Each candidate should affix his/her recent colour passport size photograph (of size 3.5 cms x 4.5 cms) on a White Paper and then append his/her signatures with Black Pen in another box of 3.5 cms x 1.5cms below the photograph on the same Paper. Scan the above photo and signature in a single file in JPG format of size not more than 50 KB to upload the same at appropriate space provided in the on-line Application Form. Sample image is given below.
- Scanned copy of Signature (JPEG/ JPG): Each candidate shall affix his/her signature (of size 3.5 cms x 1.5 cms) on a White Paper with Black Pen. Scan the above signature in a JPG format of size not more than 50 KB and upload the same at appropriate space provided in the on-line Application Form. Sample image is given below.
- Scanned Copy of Date of Birth Certificate (PDF) : Size not exceeding 250 kB
- Scanned Copy of Degree and Marksheet(s) of essential qualification (Single PDF): Size not exceeding 500 kB. ‘
- Scanned Copy of Category Certificate (PDF), if applicable: Size not exceeding 250 kB.
- Scanned Copy of EWS Certificate (PDF), if applicable: Size not exceeding 250 kB
- Scanned Copy of PWD Certificate (PDF), if applicable: Size not exceeding 250kB.

- The Application can be submitted online through the URL https://apply-delhi.nielit.gov.in/ Home Page of online application displays all the details related to the Recruitment like Detailed Advertisement, Starting and Closing Date of online applications receiving, Helpdesk details etc.
Applicants are advised to read the detailed advertisement/ instructions and steps carefully before registering themselves and filling the application - Applicants need to register themselves by clicking on “New User Registration” link. They have to fill all mandatory fields for registration regarding personal details along with email ID and mobile number. The mobile number and email ID are being validated with OTP during registration. After successful registration, a Registration Id will be generated. It is to be noted that only one Registration Id can be created using an E‐mail ID and Mobile No. Candidates are advised to note down the Registration Id, since this Registration Id is required to be entered each time when you Login to the system for filling the Online Application. Information regarding the generated Registration Id will also be sent to the Applicant via SMS. If the candidate is applying for more than one post, it is mandatory to apply/ submit their applications using the same Registration ID failing which candidate will get different examination centres or the applications will be rejected.
- If any candidate is found to have registered more than once, their candidature will be cancelled/ rejected.

- National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT),(erstwhile DOEACC Society), an Autonomous Scientific Society under the administrative control of Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MoE&IT), Government of India, was set up to carry out Human Resource Development and related activities in the area of Information, Electronics & Communications Technology (IECT). NIELIT is engaged both in Formal & Non-Formal Education in the area of IECT besides development of industry oriented quality education and training programmes in the state-of-the-art areas. NIELIT has endeavoured to establish standards to be the country’s premier institution for Examination and Certification in the field of IECT. It is also one of the National Examination Body, which accredits institutes/organizations for conducting courses in IT in the non-formal sector.
- At present, NIELIT has forty one (41) offices located at Agartala, Aizawl, Ajmer, Aurangabad, Bhubaneswar, Calicut, Chandigarh, Chennai, Chuchuyimlang, Churachandpur, Delhi, Dibrugarh, Gangtok, Gorakhpur, Guwahati, Haridwar, Imphal, Itanagar, Jammu, Jorhat, Kohima, Kolkata, Kokrajhar, Kurukshetra, Leh, Lucknow, Lunglei, Majuli, Mandi, Pasighat, Patna, Pali, Ranchi, Senapati, Shillong, Shimla, Silchar, Srinagar, Tezpur, Tura, Tezu with its Headquarters at New Delhi. It is also well networked throughout India with the presence of about 700 + institutes.
- Over the last two decades, NIELIT has acquired very good expertise in IT training, through its wide repertoire of causes, ranging from ‘O’ Level (Foundation), ‘A’ Level (Advance Diploma), ‘B’ Level (MCA equivalent), ‘C’ Level (M-Tech level), IT literacy courses such as CCC (Course on Computer Concept), BCC (Basic Computer Course) and other such long term and short term course in the non formal sector like courses on Information Security, ITeS-BPO(Customer Care/Banking), Computer Hardware Maintenance (CHM-O/A level), Bio-Informatics(BI-O/A/B level), ESDM etc, besides, high end courses offered by NIELIT Centres at Post-Graduate level (M.Tech) in Electronics Design & Technology, Embedded Systems etc. which are not normally offered by Universities/Institutions in the formal sector, in association with the respective state Universities.
- The basket of activities of NIELIT is further augmented by the wide range of projects that it undertakes. NIELIT has demonstrated its capability and capacity to undertake R&D projects, consultancy services, turnkey projects in office automation, software development, website development etc. NIELIT is also the nodal implementing agency on behalf of DeitY for Data Digitization of the population of 15 assigned States and 2 Union Territories for the creation of National Population Register (NPR) project of Registrar General of India (RGI).
- NIELIT is also successfully executing the Agriculture Census and Input Survey project under which tabulation of about 10 crore data records have to be done. NIELIT has planned a roadmap for adopting appropriate pedagogy for metamorphosing NIELIT into an Institute of National Importance.
