General Conditions:
- Bharat Electronics Limited, a Navartna Company and India’s premier professional electronics Company under the Ministry of Defence, requires the following personnel for its Military Communication SBU, Bengaluru Complex
- The postings will be done based on the Company’s requirement, preference indicated by the candidate at the time of the interview and relative performance of the candidate in the written test/ viva.
- Selected candidates are required to be covered under a medical insurance scheme for a sum of Rs.2 lakhs per annum and submit the same on joining. In addition to the remuneration indicated, a consolidated amount of Rs. 10,000/- per year will be paid towards expenses like medical insurance premium, attire allowance, stitching charges, footwear allowance, etc.
- Only Indian nationals need apply.
- The posts indicated above may vary based on the actual requirement at the time of selection.
- There will be no separate communication to any candidates on their non-selection at any stage.
- Candidates whose specialization mentioned in the degree certificate does not tally with the branch mentioned in the application will not be considered for interview.
- Decision of BEL in all matters regarding eligibility of the candidate, the stages at which such scrutiny of eligibility is to be undertaken, qualification and other eligibility norms will be final and binding on the candidate.

- Candidates who are desirous of applying for the above posts and are willing to be posted at the locations indicated in the advertisement may apply online by clicking the link provided against the advertisement and click on “ Click here to apply for Project Engineer- I (Electronics) On Contract Basis) for Military communication SBU, Bengaluru Complex”. The last date to apply is 14.03.2020.
- Candidates are required to enter all information correctly in the online application form and verify the same before submission, as changes shall not be permitted after submission of the application form.
- General, EWS and OBC candidates are required to remit an amount of Rs. 500/-
- The application fee should be remitted through SBI Collect (through online mode or through SBI Branch). Candidates are requested to read the details and screenshots for making the payment.
- Candidates can also make the payment by approaching SBI branch. You have to select SBI branch in the payment option and download pre-printed challan generated through SBI Collect and deposit the application fee (as applicable) plus applicable bank charges in any SBI Branch. The candidate should ensure to obtain the seal and signature of the bank official.
- General candidates have to enter the “SBI Collect reference No.” generated after payment, in the Online Application Form before proceeding to fill the other details in the Application form. SC/ST/ PWD candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
- Candidates may go through all instructions and eligibility criteria carefully before remitting Application Fee and submitting the application. Fee once paid will not be refunded.
Selection Process:
- Selections will be conducted at Bangalore only
- Candidates meeting the qualifying criteria and whose online application has been accepted will be shortlisted for the written test.
- Selection will be through a Written Test followed by an Interview, only for those candidates who qualify in the written test.
- Candidates who meet the qualifying criteria and whose online application has been accepted are required to log on to the website and enter their application number to access and download their written test call letter. Candidates are requested to print the call letter and comply with the instructions indicated therein. Please note that call letters will not be sent through email or conventional mail.
- The results of the final selection will be available on BEL website through query mode.
About Us:
- Bharat Electronics Limited (IAST: Bhārat Electronics limiṭeḍ) (BEL) is an Indian state-owned aerospace and defence company with about nine factories, and several regional offices in India.
- It is owned by the Indian Government and primarily manufactures advanced electronic products for the Indian Armed Forces. BEL is one of nine PSUs under the Ministry of Defence of India. It has been granted Navratna status by the Government of India.
- Starting with the manufacture of a few communication equipment in 1956, BEL started producing receiving valves in 1961, germanium semiconductors in 1962 and radio transmitters for AIR in 1964.
- In 1966, BEL set up a radar manufacturing facility for the army and in-house R&D. In 1967, BEL began manufacturing transmitting tubes, silicon devices and integrated circuits. The PCB manufacturing facility was established in 1968.
- In 1970, BEL started making black & white TV picture tubes, X-ray tubes and microwave tubes. In 1971, BEL set up facilities for the manufacture of integrated circuits and hybrid micro circuits. 1972, BEL established manufacturing facilities for TV transmitters for Doordarshan. In 1973, BEL began manufacturing frigate radars for the navy.
- Under the government’s policy of decentralisation and due to strategic reasons, BEL set up new units at different location across the country. The second unit of BEL was set up at Ghaziabad in 1974 to manufacture radars and Tropo communication equipment for the Indian Air Force. The third unit was established at Pune in 1979 to manufacture image converter and image intensifier tubes.
