Reporting; The Technical Officer-II will report to the Mission Director, the Additional Mission Director, SMMU, Jal Jeevan Mission, Assam, the Chairperson of DWSM of the concerning District and the District Mission Director/Associate Mission Director of DMMU.

Scope of work
Scope of workThe primary scope of work of the Technical Officer-II will include but not limited to the following:
a. Supervision of construction of Pipe water supply scheme (PWSS), installation of Functional House tap connection (FHTC) and other JJM related work like VAP, DAP etc.
b. Ensure quality of construction works
c. Support in preparation of Detail Project Report(DPR) under JJM
d. Supervision of construction of Community Managed Sanitary Complex (CMSC), Individual Household Latrine (IHHL) and Solid liquid waste management (SLWM) assets under JJM
e. Retrofitting of completed and ongoing piped water supply schemes to provide FHTC and raise the service level f. Monthly activity report to both Member Secretary, District Water Sanitation Committee (DWSC) and District Water Sanitation Mission (DWSM)
g. Supervision of Grey water management works and quality assurance h. Facilitate and attend meetings at village, GP, Block and district level, as and when required
i. Coordinate with Gram Panchayat and/ or its sub-committee, i.e. GP/village water sanitation committee (VWSC) etc., for sensitizing community in JJM
j. Step-in at times of calamities like drought / flood
k. Support in exposure visits for Gram Panchayat and/or its sub – committee, i.e. VWSC etc. functionaries, wherever required
l. Ensuring that all information is placed on IMIS m. Any other work as assigned by DWSC and DWSM
