General Instruction:
- TNPL, a well known Paper and Board Manufacturing Company with a turnover of over ` 3437 Crores requires the following personnel for its Multilayer Double Coated Board Plant (TNPL Unit-II) at Manapparai Taluk, Trichy District, Tamilnadu;
- Candidates should have secured 60% of marks in ITI (NTC) Trade without any rounding off.
- Internship Training / Apprenticeship Training under the Apprentices Act 1961 will not be considered as Experience.
- The Candidates should ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria and other requirements and that the particulars furnished by them are correct in all respect. In case it is detected at any stage of recruitment process that the candidate does not meet the eligibility criteria and / or the candidate has furnished any incorrect / false information or has suppressed any material fact(s), the candidature of such a candidate is liable to be rejected. If any of the above shortcoming(s) is/are detected, even after appointment, he / she will be terminated and prosecuted.

- Post Qualification experience will be calculated only after acquiring essential qualification i.e. Diploma in Chemical Engineering / Chemical Technology / Pulp & Paper Technology / in Instrumentation Engineering / Instrumentation Technology / Instrumentation and Control Engineering / Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering / National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC).

- Candidates who conform to the job requirements as given above may apply through our web portal www.tnpl.com. No other mode of application will be accepted.
- Before applying Online, the candidates should possess valid E-mail ID and Mobile Number.
- Candidates are advised to go through the User Manual before filling the Online Application and follow the instructions / procedures.
- Candidates can access the Online Application portal at www.tnpl.com. The Online Application portal will be active from 08:30 hours on 03/12/2020 to 17:30 hours on 18/12/2020.
- After submitting the Application through ONLINE, an Application Form will be generated and it will be sent to the candidate’s e-mail ID with Application Number, which has to be quoted for all future references. Candidates are required to take two copies of print out of the same and

- The candidature of the applicant who fails to submit the hard copy of the Application Form (or) received belatedly after the stipulated time will not be considered.

About Us:
- The Tamil Nadu Newsprint and Papers Limited (TNPL)was established by the Government of Tamil Nadu to produce newsprint and writing paper using bagasse, a sugarcane residue. The Government of Tamil Nadu listed the paper mill in April 1979 as one of the most environmentally compliant paper mills in the world under the provisions of the Companies Act of 1956. The factory is situated at Kagithapuram 11.0488°N 77.9977°E in the Karur District of Tamil Nadu and Manapparai,Trichy district of Tamilnadu.The registered office of the company is located in Guindy, Chennai.
- The Company commenced production in the year 1984 with an initial capacity of 90,000 tonnes per annum. TNPL has started the commercial production of newsprint on its new Paper Machine No. 2 from January 1996. The machine was supplied jointly by Voith Sulzer Paper Technology[4] and its licensee in India, Larsen and Toubro Limited and has opened up new vistas for newsprint making. The machine is designed to run with 100% bagasse. Over the years, the production capacity has been increased to 2,45,000 tonnes per annum and the Company has emerged as the Largest bagasse based Paper Mill in the world consuming about one million tonnes of bagasse every year. The Company is in the process of implementing the Mill Expansion Plan for increasing the capacity to 4,00,000 tonnes per annum from July 2010.
- TNPL has ventured with nearby sugar mills such as Sakthi Sugar Mills for continued supply of Bagasse for the Paper mill where Steam will be provided to the sugar mill in exchange of bagasse.
- TNPL has obtained the ISO 9001 – 2000 certification from RWTUV of Germany for development, manufacture and supply of Newsprint and Printing & Writing Paper. TNPL uses automated process control facilities for various process till final packing and despatch. It is implemented by The Online Integrated Information System (OIIS) a mini ERP package developed by CMC Ltd for integrated flow of information from all the sections of the company covering production, materials, finance, marketing etc. The TNPL using Enterprise resource planning (ERP) business management software to integrate all facets of an operation, including product planning, development, manufacturing, sales, marketing etc., (from 2012 itself).
- TNPL’s in-house Research and Development facility is recognized by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR) New Delhi. The R&D department has sophisticated state-of-the art instruments and equipments. TNPL has recorded Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) of about 7.01 to 7.50.
