General Instruction:
- The posts carry usual allowance as admissible to Central Government Servant of similar status stationed at Delhi / New Delhi.
- The aspiring applicants satisfying the eligibility criteria in all respect can submit their applicant only through ON-LINE mode through Registration Link. The On-line Registration Link of applications is made available on http:J /rmlh.nic.in / www.vmmc-sih,nic.in / www.lhruc¬hosp.gov.in / www.aiimsexam.org from 1/8/2019 to 21/8/2019 Upto 5.00 P.M. No documents including the Registration Slip of On-line application form is required to be sent, however, all the applicants are advised to keep a copy of Registration Slip with them, along with proof of payment for their record.
- The On-line Registration will be closed by 05.00 P.M. on 21/8/2019. The candidature of such applicants who fails to complete the online registration by the stipulated date and time will not be considered and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
- They must be fulfilling all the eligibility criteria as on the closing date of online registration / submitting application, failing which their application will be rejected.
- The applicants applying in response to this advertisement should satisfy themselves regarding their eligibility for the post applied for.
- The candidate must ensure that their photo, signature and thumb impression should be as per the guidelines mentioned in the “Upload Image Instructions” given in the General Links and are clearly visible in preview at the time of filling of application in online mode. If photo / signature / thumb impression image is not as per instructions given in the “Upload Image Instructions” in that case, your application will be rejected. So, be careful while uploading your photo, signature and thumb impression.
- The candidates can pay the prescribed application fee through DEBIT CARD / CREDIT CARD / NETBANKING. Transaction / Processing fee, if any, as applicable, will be payable to the bank by the candidate.
- Application fee once remitted shall not be refunded under any circumstances.
- Application without the prescribed fee would not be considered and summarily rejected.
- Upper Age limit to determine eligibility in terms of all other qualifications (Experience) last date of online registration / submission of application i.e. 21/8/2019 will be the cut off date.
- SC/ ST/OBC candidates who opt to apply for unreserved vacancies will not eligible for age relaxation or relaxation in cut-off marks which are otherwise allowed to those belonging to these categories.
- In case any reserved category candidate is given advantage of provision of age relaxation and is on merit eligible to be considered against UR seat, such candidates will not be considered against UR but only for respective reserved category seat only.
- Candidates applying under any of the reserved category viz. SC/ ST/ OBC will be considered subject to submission of Caste certificate on a prescribed format issued by the competent authority. Candidates applying under OBC Category must bring the caste certificate in the format provided by the DoP&T vide O.M. No. 36036/ 2/2013-Estt. (Res.) dated 30.05.2014 which has been issued not earlier than one year from the last date of online registration. Certificate must be valid for employment in Central Government Institutions.
- OBC candidate’s eligibility will be based on Castes borne in the Central List of Govt. of India. OBC candidates should not belong to Creamy Layer. Their Sub-caste should match with the entries in Central List of OBC, failing which their candidature will not be considered under any of the applied reserved category and will be treated as UR.
- For persons with Disability, Disability Certificate issued by the duly constituted and authorized Medical Board in the Proforma Prescribed by the Department of Personnel 85 Training Vide O.M. No.36035/3/2004-Estt.(Res.) dated 29/12/2005. The details regarding PWBD may be seen at Annexure I.
- The vacancies advertised under EWS Category is as per the instructions issued by DoPT, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pension, Govt. Of India, vide O.M. No.36039 / 1/2019- Estt (Res), dated 31.01.2019. EWS category will be considered subject to submission of income and Assets certificate on a prescribed format issued by the competent authority and subject to verification of genuineness of the certificate by the issuing authority.
- The detailed info’nation viz.(date of uploading of Status of application, date of uploading of Admit Card etc.) related to conduct of Examination and its result will be uploaded under Scheme of Examination by the Examination Section, AIIMS, New Delhi in due course of time in the website www.aiimsexams.org Candidates are advised to download their Admit Card from AIIMS web site www.aiimsexams.org as no admit card will be sent by post.
- The candidates are advised to bring Admit Card downloaded from AIIMS website at the time of Online (CBT) mode Examination and hand over the same to the Invigilator after completing the Examination, failing which their candidature/performance in the Online (CBT) mode Examination will not be considered.
- The original certificates/documents of successful candidates will be verified for which dates will be notified after declaration of result. On the basis of On-line (CBT) mode Examination, the provisionally qualified candidates will be required to produce original certificates as given below along with one photocopy of all these documents which are, duly attested/self attested. Documents required are: i) Copy of downloaded Registration Slip of on-line application form. ii) Copy of downloaded Admit Card. iii) Certificate showing the Date of Birth. iv) Caste certificate if applied under SC/ST/ OBC category issued by the competent authority. v) Disability Certificate, if applied under PWBD category. vi) `No Objection Certificate’ if in regular employment. vii) Educational qualification viii) INC/ State Nursing Council Registration ix) Experience certificate, if any.
- Those who are in employment with State/Central Govt./PSU, must submit a “NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE” from the employer at the time of verification of documents.
- Any dispute in regard to any matter referred to herein shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Delhi Courts alone.
- As per the directions received from Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, New Delhi vide File No.Z.28015/01/2019-H-I dated 25th July, 2019, for conducting Joint competitive examination for the post of Nursing Officer of 4 Central Government Hospitals i.e. 1. Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital (RMLH), 2. Safdarjung Hospital (SJH), 3. Lady Hardinge Medical College(LHMC) & Smt. Sucheta Kriplani Hospital (SSKH) and 4. Kalawati Saran Children’s Hospital (KSCH), New Delhi. In this regard, Examination Section, AIIMS, New Delhi will be conducting a combined Online (CBT) Mode Recruitment Examination for the post of Nursing Officers for AIIMS, New Delhi and above mentioned Hospitals as per the Recruitment Rules of AIIMS, New Delhi and other Hospitals, with Single Registration process for all the institutions / hospitals. The details of the post are indicated in the advertisement of AIIMS New Delhi & Dr. RML Hospital (Nodal Hospital) for all 4 Central Government Hospitals separately. However, the applicant will have to give their choice of preference in the single online Registration form. - Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, formerly known as Willingdon Hospital, was established by the British for their staff and had only 54 beds. After independence, its control was shifted to New Delhi Municipal Committee.
- In 1954, its control was again transferred to the Central Government of Independent India.
- The hospital has grown over the years and is currently having about 1420 beds, spread over in 30 acres of land. It caters to the population of New Delhi and Central District, apart from patients from other areas and even from out side Delhi. It is having 71 beds in a Nursing Home for the C.G.H.S beneficiaries, including Maternity Nursing Home.
- It is fully funded by the Government of India (Ministry of Health Family Welfare). No Emergency Patients are Refused treatment in this Hospital.
- A non-invasive Cardiac Lab and a Cardiac Cath Lab exists in this hospital, in which facility for TMT, Echo-Cardiography, Coronary Angiography and Pace Maker implantation are available. Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery, Neuro Surgery facilities are available in the Hospital.
- This hospital has round the clock emergency services in Medicine, Surgery, Orthopedics and Paediatrics. The facilities in other specialties are also available on call basis. All supportive services like laboratory, X – Ray, CT-Scan, Ultrasound, Blood Bank and Ambulances are available round the clock. A Coronary Care Unit and an Intensive Care Unit exists in the hospital for serious Cardiac and Non-Cardiac patients. The hospital has laid down disaster action plan & disaster beds, which are made operational in case of mass casualties and disaster.
- In a year hospital provides services to about 18 lakhs patients as OPD cases, admits about 67000 patients in Indoor and about 3 lakhs patients are attended in the Emergency. About 10000 yellow fever vaccination and 915 delivery cases. Similarly about 5,000 CT Scan, 1.70 lakhs X-Ray cases, 28 lakhs laboratory tests and about 17,000 Ultrasound are done. Hospital conducts about 9,000 Major and 40,000 Minor operations during a year.
- Hospital has two Incinerators, one Micro Wave Machine and two Plastic Shredders for sound hospital waste disposal system.
- With the growth and expansion of medical facilities in the hospital, the establishment of the hospital administration has also increased to 3164. With this expansion of establishment, the administrative work has also increased. The sanctioned strength of Central Health Services & Non CHS, Group A Group B Gazetted & Non Gazetted, Ministerial Staff, Nursing Staff, Paramedical Staff and Group D staff with pre-revised revised scales are given at Annexure.
