Applications are invited from highly motivated candidates to work as a Junior Research Fellow under the SERB funded project entitled ‘Aspects of tests of independence on nonparametric regression theory-a data driven approach'(Sanction No: EMR/2016/007162) under the supervision of Dr. Saran Ishika Maiti (Principal Investigator), Department of Statistics, Visva-Bharati, Santiniketan.
Essential qualifications:
Candidates should have M.Sc. in Statistics with minimum 55% marks. Candidate is preferred to have NET/GATE.
Employment Notification Advertisement for the post of one Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Age limit: Must not be over 28 years as on 31stJuly, 2018 (relaxable as per the norms of Government of India).
Fellowship amount: Rs. 25000 + HRA (as per DST guidelines)
However for Non-NET candidate fellowship would be fixed as per DST Notification.
General Terms and Conditions: The position is temporary and co-terminus with the project. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
