Applications in plain paper affixed with one copy recent passport size photograph ( to be fixed on the top right side of application) alongwith complete bio¬data are invited from interested candidates from the Citizen of Meghalaya for the following posts on contractual basis for a period of 3 years for implementation of Cluster Development Programme (Sponsored by Government of India, Ministry of Textiles) under North Eastern Region Textile Promotion Scheme (NERTPS) in the office of the Directorate of Sericulture and Weaving, Meghalaya, Shillong.

Vacancy Details:
1-Textile Designer
Qualification – preferably graduation from NIFT / NID with atleast 1 (One) year experience. However M.sc in Textiles / B.Sc and B. Tech in Textile Technology can also apply having at least 2 (Two Years) experience in the field.
2-Cluster Development Executive
Qualification -Diploma in Handloom and Textiles Technology from IIHT / Diploma from State Government Polytechnic preferably with Costume Design and Garment Technology / 2 years Certificate Course from ITI in Textile Technology / 2 years Certificate Course from HT1 with a field experience of at least 2 years in Textile Unit / Handloom Clusters / Handloom Unit.
Rate of fixed salary which include Travel, Boarding and Lodging expenses etc : 15,000/- p.m. for each Textile Designer – cum – Marketing Executive and Cluster Development Executive.
